Sample Tour Itinerary

The itinerary is subject to change. We will keep the standard high and the locations of interest included but their may be a need to re-route the tour based on the game schedules and availability.

Day 1 – June 28 - Departure from USA

• Depart from your international gateway on an overnight flight to Lisbon, Portugal

• Dinner and overnight onboard

Day 2 – June 29 - Arrival Lisbon → Transfer to Islantilla (Spain)

• Arrival into Lisbon and meet your AIST tour manager

• Scenic transfer to Islantilla, Spain

• Lunch stop en-route to experience local cuisine

• Check-in at your 4 star resort accommodations

• Evening free to enjoy the beach and explore your surroundings

• Welcome dinner at a local restaurant

Day 3 – June 30 - Seville Cultural Experience

• Breakfast and transfer to Seville

• Guided tour of Seville featuring: Seville Cathedral, Plaza de España, Historic city center

• Free time to explore shops, cafés, or local culture

• Return to Islantilla for relaxing evening on the beach

• Dinner at a local restaurant

Day 4 – July 1 - Transfer to Lisbon + Zip-Line Adventure

• Depart Spain and travel toward Portugal

• Zip-line border crossing over the Guadiana River (Spain → Portugal)

• Continue to Lisbon for free time in Lisbon for lunch on your own

• Hotel check-in

• Evening at leisure

• Included group dinner

Day 5 – July 2 - Lisbon Exploration + Training

• Guided visit of Lisbon including: Old Town (Alfama District), São Jorge Castle

• Team training session in preparation for competition (Possible Scrimmage vs. other tournament teams)

• Dinner at a local restaurant

Day 6 – July 3 - Lisboa Volleyball Cup – Competition Day 1

• Opening matches of the Lisboa Lacrosse Cup 2027

• Compete against international teams

• Tournament-packed lunch included

• Continue tournament play

• Group dinner to recap the day

Day 7 – July 4 - Lisboa Volleyball Cup – Competition Day 2

• Full day of tournament competition (This tournament day will depend on the final number of teams in the tournament. It may be possible to complete the tournament or exhibition games in less time).

• Final matches and tournament play

• Free time to explore depending on game schedules

• Team dinner and celebration

Day 8 – July 5 - Sintra & Cascais Excursion + Farewell Dinner

• Day trip to Sintra (UNESCO World Heritage Site)

• Visit the iconic Pena Palace

• Continue to Cascais coastal village

• Free time along the waterfront, shops, and cafés

• Return to Lisbon

• Farewell dinner to celebrate the tour

Day 9 – July 6 - Departure from Lisbon (LIS)

• Check-out and transfer to Lisbon Airport

• Return flight to USA

• Departure with unforgettable memories representing Team USA

Important Notes:

Upgraded seats and deviations may not be possible depending on the airline policies for group travel.

Do not purchase any flights until AIST confirms the schedule about 4-5 months prior to departure.

To include airfare in your tour package, you must select the the add-on at check-out of your preferred option. Seats are limited at the quoted price, and if additional seats are needed, the cost may increase. Book early to secure your spot. Seats are limited and available to first come first serve. They can be added at another time if you prefer to check on booking your own flights but do not book any flights until AIST confirms a complete roster.

Your team may also be traveling with a Basketball or Lacrosse team for this event.

The prices below are based on the following conditions:

• 7 night Ground package

• Cost is quoted per person

• Ground Package cost only - Airfare is available separately with a group flight option - or you can purchase on your own

• Minimum 15 paying passengers for prices below

• Cost is subject to change until deposit and registration is received

• Discounts available if deposited before June 1, 2026 for players ($500) and for Friends and family ($250) until November 1, 2026. (MUST use discount codes before June 1 for player discounts)

• $500 deposit due to confirm - Refundable until Nov 1, 2026

• 6-7 months prior to departure - about 30% of total due

• 5 months prior to departure - 50% of the total cost land and air due

• About 2 months prior to departure all balances will be due and non-refundable

Cancellation fees will be kept to a minimum. However, in the event of you having to cancel part, or all your arrangements within the following, the below cancellation conditions apply. Airfare cancellation policies are separate and vary from carrier to carrier.

• The initial deposit is non-refundable ($500 per person) after November 1, 2026

• 130 – 61 days prior to departure 50%-75% of total cost land an air will be non-refundable

• 60 – Days prior to departure there will be no refunds

• Once travel has commenced, no refunds will be given. This includes any unused portion of the tour.

• WeTravel Processing fees are non-refundable (Consider Payment by Check to avoid processing fees)

REPLACEMENT PARTICIPANT INFORMATION: If a pre-enrolled participant cannot travel for any reason, a substitute may be sent in his/her place. We must receive the name of the replacement participant at least 15 days before the teams departure. If a replacement cannot be sent the Cancellation and Refund Policy stated above will be applied.

Airfare cancellation and refund policies vary by airline.

• Confirmation email will be sent within 7-14 days and once received you will have 48 hours to complete registration and commitment by making your deposit

• $500 deposit is due and fully refundable until NOVEMBER 1, 2026 (cancel for any reason for full refund, less WeTravel processing fees of 3%)
