About this trip

Explore the rich tapestry of Washington, D.C.'s national Christian heritage as you embark on a journey through the heart of the nation's capital. We'll examine several key Biblical themes while we visit all of the iconic landmarks including the Capitol Building, the Supreme Court, and the White House.

We'll continue our journey by delving into the history of faith at the Museum of the Bible, where you can view an extensive collection of ancient scriptures, artifacts, and interactive exhibits that showcase the impact of Christianity on the world.

We'll stroll along the National Mall, being able to pay our respects at the Vietnam Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, and the Korean War Memorial. We'll also experience the awe-inspiring Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial, a testament to the enduring legacy of Dr. King's Christian principles in the struggle for civil rights. Nearby, the World War II Memorial's inscriptions bear witness to the profound role of faith during times of crisis.

Finally, pay your respects at Arlington National Cemetery, where the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and its changing of the guard ceremony remind us of the sacrifices made by those who held their faith close during times of war.

Washington, D.C. is not only a hub of political power but also a place where the national Christian heritage is interwoven with the fabric of our nation's history. Immerse yourself in this spiritual journey as you explore these major sites and celebrate the enduring influence of Christianity on American culture and values.
