Join Saskia Farr on this epic 8-Day Yoga and Safari Adventure from Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe to Chobe National Park Botswana. Experience the best of adventure, wellness and wildlife on this yoga & safari retreat!
Saskia is a Certified Hatha & Vinayasa Yoga Instructor based in the Netherlands. Saskia was born in Botswana and spent most of her childhood under the Southern African sun. She has been teaching for six years, and has been practicing for seven. She started teaching to share what was shared with her, as it had a lasting impact on her wellbeing. Inspired to practice Yoga on and off the matt, whilst highlighting the importance of returning back to nature. Being from Southern Africa she finds it a necessity to return to our natural nature; after moving to Europe in 2023 she became aware of the disconnect in the modern ways and since has found inspiration through her practice.
Her practice combines contemporary anatomical research, with ancient Yogic teachings, whilst also honouring the importance of expression and creativity. Her approach to Yoga is evidence based, focusing on solutions that optimise physical alignment, mental clarity, and long-term wellbeing. By placing emphasis on the body, breath, mind, the heart space and most importantly presence, presence in self but also in one's inner and external environment.
Through comprehensive, intentional practice she facilitates progressive learning designed to bring practitioners back home to their own inner working. By demonstrating practices, and implementing individualised modifications to ensure every practitioner advances safely and effectively.
Yoga is not just a physical practice but an internal one. One that takes place on the mat, but also off it! Saskia's practice is physical, but that is only the beginning. Come, let me take you home!
