Welcome to the stunning country of Croatia, where ancient history, coastal beauty, and vibrant culture come together. Settle into our home for the next few nights, a five-star hotel in the heart of the beautiful city of Split. Take some time to wander the charming historic streets, explore the lively waterfront, browse local shops, or simply relax and soak in the incredible rooftop or pool at our hotel.

In the evening we will gather for a memorable welcome dinner. We’ll toast the adventure ahead and get to know our new friends.

Day 2 - Waterfalls, Šibenik and Wine Tasting

Explore Krka National Park and Local Winery

After breakfast, we’ll head out to explore one of Croatia’s most breathtaking natural wonders. Krka National Park is absolutely stunning, with waterfalls at nearly every turn, crystal-clear pools, and lush greenery that make this one of the most spectacular places in the country. Spend time wandering the wooden pathways and taking in the scenery before continuing on to the charming coastal town of Šibenik.

Enjoy free time to stroll the colorful streets and take in panoramic views of the Adriatic Sea.

Local Winery Visit

We’ll also visit a local winery where we’ll sample regional wines and tapas and learn about wine from this region.

Day 3 - Cook Like a Local

Hands-On Cooking and Market Experience in Split

Visit Split's Green Market and Fish Market

After breakfast, we’ll spend the day like a local as we discover the flavors and traditions that make Split so special. Alongside a local chef, we’ll visit the bustling Green Market and Fish Market, where colorful stalls overflow with fresh produce, seafood, and regional specialties. Together, we’ll select the ingredients for our meal before enjoying Croatian wine, delicious local tapas, and a hands-on cooking class where we’ll learn to prepare traditional Dalmatian dishes. Of course, the best part is gathering around the table to enjoy everything we’ve created together.

Free time in Split

Free time in the evening to get lost in historic Diocletian's Palace, enjoy a drink on the waterfront promenade, or find a spot by the sea to watch the sunset.

Day 4 - Olive Oil and Honey on Šolta Island

Authentic Island Experiences: Olive Oil and Honey

Ferry to Šolta Island

Breakfast at the hotel before we depart for a full day of adventures on the tiny, incredibly authentic island of Šolta. We’ll take the local ferry across the Adriatic, getting a glimpse of everyday island life before meeting a father and son team who will welcome us into their olive grove and production facility.

Olive Oil Grove Visit and Tasting

Here we’ll learn about their trees, see the olive oil process up close, and enjoy a tasting of the oil in their beautiful tasting room. You will for sure want to take some of this amazing olive oil home!

Beekeeper Garden Visit and Honey Tasting

We’ll then have the unique experience of meeting a third-generation beekeeper at this home. He has a contagious passion for bees and honey! In his garden, we’ll learn about the bees, hear the story behind his family’s honey history and even get to taste some ourselves. This is a true Croatian experience you won’t soon forget.

Return on the ferry to Split where we will walk to our hotel.

Dinner

After a long and meaningful day, we will gather together for dinner as a group in the historic city of Split.

Day 5 - Farm Life and Hilltop Feast

Authentic Croatian Farm Experience Above Split

Leisurely Morning in Split

Enjoy a leisurely morning in Split. Grab a coffee along the waterfront, explore the historic streets, climb Marjan Hill for beautiful views over the city and sea, or simply enjoy a slow breakfast before we head out for the afternoon.

Afternoon on a Historic Family Farm

A short drive will bring us to the hills above Split for one of the most authentic experiences of our trip. We’ll spend the afternoon on a farm dating back to the 1500s, where a young farmer will welcome us to his family’s farm with a traditional welcome drink. Take in the jaw dropping views from his hilltop farm including the famous fortress featured in Game of Thrones. We’ll learn about the farm and hear about his life as a 30-something farmer. We are in for a treat with the spread he prepares for us. Everything he makes is from his farm meats he smokes, red and white wine from his grapes, olive oil from his olive trees, then he accompanies it with incredible cheese his mom makes from the goats and homemade delicious bread. This is the kind of local experience that few visitors ever get to have.

Enjoy a free evening in Split-a cocktail on the rooftop of our hotel, a walk down the promenade or dinner in Diocletian's Palace.

Day 6 - Island Life

Breakfast at the hotel before we kick off a day fit for a celebrity.

Private Speedboat to Hvar

Two private speedboats will whisk us away to the stunning island of Hvar, known for its crystal-clear turquoise water, glamorous harbor, and beautiful stone architecture. Along the way, we’ll have opportunities to swim, snorkel, and soak up the sunshine while taking in some of the most spectacular coastal scenery in Croatia. We will have time on the island to shop, explore and have lunch at a local restaurant.

Farewell Dinner

We will gather in the evening for a lovely farewell dinner.

Day 7 - Goodbye Croatia

Farewell to Croatia and Departure

Private transfer to the airport

Breakfast available at the hotel before we say goodbye to our beautiful hotel, this stunning country and all our new Somewhere Sunny friends as this beautiful week comes to an end.

Private transfer will take us to the airport.
