Welcome to Chile! Your adventure begins when you get picked up at the airport by a local representative that will welcome you and accompany you to your hotel.
Your hotel is located in the trendy area of Las Condes.

Welcome to Chile!
Upon landing at Santiago airport, a local representative will transfer you to your hotel to relax before starting your city tour. The tour kicks off in Santiago's Historical Center, highlighting the Metropolitan Cathedral, the old central post office, the neoclassical Justice Tribunal with the Supreme Court, and ex-Congress. We'll then venture down Alameda towards La Moneda Palace and ascend Cerro Santa Lucía for city views. We will end this tour at the Metropolitan Park (San Cristobal Hill) for its breathtaking vistas, accessible by funicular and cableway. You'll be returned to your hotel after the tour.
Rugendas Hotel Boutique
Rugendas Hotel Boutique is the place to enjoy an intimate and exclusive experience, where we invite you to discover the magic found in every corner of Chile—the primary inspiration for the German artist Mauricio Rugendas.
We'll journey to the beautiful Casablanca Valley, not far from Santiago. The meandering, tree-lined country roads of the enchanting Casablanca Valley are the backdrop for this easy, relaxing bike tour through one of Chile's premier wine-growing regions.
We'll bike leisurely along tree-lined roads through some of central Chile's finest vineyards, stopping to learn about the fascinating history of wine in Chile and why the soil and climate here is perfect for production, sample some of the area's superb white wines and enjoy a delicious lunch.
Enjoy some free time to explore on your own or to relax.
After a short scenic flight from Santiago to Calama Airport.
Upon arrival to the airport Calama, meet a local representative and head to San Pedro de Atacama Town located in the middle of the desert, where you'll check into your hotel.
In the afternoon you'll have a time to acclimatise and explore the town.
Immerse yourself in one of the most arid places on Earth, yet find yourself surrounded by colors, flavors, textures, and a silence that invites introspection. We want you to feel right at home, no matter the distance.
In one single place, you can become part of the desert, marvel at the vastness of the salt flats, gaze upon the power of volcanoes and the beauty of geysers, and revitalise yourself in thermal waters.
Take it easy today, time for acclimatisation.
A night that will change the way you see the sky
The Atacama Desert is considered one of the best places in the world for astronomical observation. And for good reason!
Minimal light pollution from a small, remote town.
High altitude, above 2,400 meters (8,000 ft), with a thinner atmosphere.
And extremely low humidity, among the lowest on Earth.
We begin with naked-eye observation, just as humanity has done for thousands of years. We identify constellations, planets, and celestial movements, learning how to navigate the sky. It’s a moment of real connection — with the cosmos and the silence of the desert.
During this stage, we serve an outdoor cocktail with Chilean wine, hot drinks, and snacks — a moment to relax without disrupting the experience.
We then move on to telescope observation. This is where details come to life: planets, double stars, star clusters, nebulae, and galaxies — depending on the season. All explained in a clear and accessible way.
And finally, the last moment of the night:
Astrophotography.
Float, observe, and feel the Atacama Salt Flat
This is an experience designed to be felt in your body.
Less walking, more presence. A journey that brings together water, salt, silence, and light — revealing a softer, more sensory side of the Atacama Salt Flat.
Laguna Cejar: The experience is immediate — and unforgettable. The high salt concentration allows your body to float effortlessly. The sensation is one of complete lightness, similar to the Dead Sea, but in a completely different setting — surrounded by desert and volcanoes.
Ojos del Salar: Two small freshwater lagoons that appear as an unexpected contrast in the middle of the salt flat. Surrounded by vegetation and open sky, they reveal how water finds its way even in extreme environments.
Laguna Tebenquiche: One of the most silent and visually striking places in the region.
Enjoy some free time to explore on your own or to relax at the hotel.
Wake up early and face the cold. We promise: it’s absolutely worth it.
We leave San Pedro de Atacama around 5:00 a.m. The journey starts to make sense as the first light of day reaches the geothermal field of the Geysers del Tatio. At over 4,300 meters (14,100 ft) above sea level, more than 80 geysers come alive in a powerful display of steam rising into the morning air.
Because of the lower atmospheric pressure, water boils at around 86 °C (187 °F). The contrast with the freezing air at sunrise intensifies the steam columns, making them taller and more dramatic. That’s exactly why we go early — this is when the phenomenon is at its peak.
After this experience a full breakfast in the middle of the desert is served: fresh bread, cakes, fruit, cheese, ham, avocado, made-to-order scrambled eggs, along with coffee, tea, and hot chocolate to warm you up.
In the afternoon, explore the Moon Valley, its unique geology, the historic Victoria Salt Mine, and the iconic Three Marys formations. End the day at Mars and Moon Valleys, where a sunset toast offers the perfect finale to a journey filled with nature, history, and striking desert scenery.
Raise a glass of Chilean wine or pisco sour, accompanied by snacks and fresh fruit — a time to slow down, connect, or simply take it all in.
Enjoy some free time to explore on your own or to relax at the hotel.
Today, we set off on a journey from the arid Atacama Desert to the lush Lake District. We'll head to Calama airport, fly to Puerto Montt with a Santiago connection, and drive to Puerto Varas, known for its German architecture and Lake Llanquihue views, where we'll settle into our hotel.
Discover the true southern charm while enjoying a perfect stay with panoramic views of the lake and volcanoes in the heart of Puerto Varas. We aim to ensure that your experience in the city is from a refuge that guarantees you rest, well-being, and excellent service.
With over 100 years of history, we have become a landmark in the city. We take pride in being connected with the local community to offer you the best and most authentic cultural, sporting, and nature experiences, so that you can later enjoy the comforts of the hotel.

We depart from Puerto Varas towards the most visited attractions in the Lake District, visiting the Osorno Volcano, a beautiful sight.
Then we continue our tour to the Petrohué Falls, a lovely place where we will explore and observe the power of the Petrohué River.
Afterwards, we have lunch and continue to Lake Todos los Santos, where we will take a boat trip. It's a 40-minute ride on this emerald-colored lake, a unique place where, on a clear day, we can see the Osorno and Puntiagudo Volcanoes amidst a native forest.
Enjoy some free time to explore on your own or to relax at the hotel.
The day is yours to choose from a selection of optional activities, the day can be as adventurous or as relax as you want.

Puerto Natales is the place to be for outdoor lovers in Chile. This small town is a major hub in Patagonia and serves as the main gateway for adventures in the Torres del Paine National Park.
Here are some options you shouldn't miss:
Promenade: The waterfront promenade in Puerto Natales runs along the shores of the Última Esperanza fjord and is one of the most relaxing spots in town. With the mountains in the distance and the sound of the water nearby, it’s the perfect place for a scenic walk.
Museum: The Singular Hotel is not only one of the most exclusive hotels in Puerto Natales — it also hosts a small museum that tells the story of the region and its sheep farming industry. The hotel itself is housed in a converted cold storage plant, transformed into a remarkable example of industrial architecture.
Seafood Restaurants: Enjoy some of the most delicious seafood fresh from the area.
Milodon Cave: About 25 kilometers north of Puerto Natales you can find the Mylodon Cave — an impressive archaeological site in the heart of Patagonia. The cave was discovered in 1895 by German captain Hermann Eberhard, who found the remains of a prehistoric giant ground sloth known as the Mylodon. This discovery made headlines worldwide and gave the cave its name. Later excavations also revealed evidence of some of Patagonia’s earliest human settlers.
Strategically located in the city of Puerto Natales—the main gateway to the world-famous Bernardo O'Higgins and Torres del Paine National Parks—this three-star hotel offers 28 non-smoking rooms equipped with cable TV, free Wi-Fi, a safe, and a telephone with domestic and international access.
The hotel is just steps away from Puerto Natales' Plaza de Armas, as well as restaurants, shops, and the main attractions of this picturesque Patagonian city.
Scheduled AM transfer from your hotel in Puerto Natales to EcoCamp Patagonia in Torres del Paine National Park.
Enjoy scenic views, wild birds, and the Patagonian landscape along the way.
You'll spend the night at EcoCamp, offering stunning views of the Towers. With summer sunsets around 11 PM, you'll have plenty of daylight to admire the surroundings. Over the next two days, choose from three daily excursions of varying difficulty, provided by EcoCamp based on the Wildlife Safari Program Excursion.
Highlights:
Stay in the world’s first fully sustainable dome hotel.
Learn all the local secrets from our knowledgeable guides.
Choose between nature walks, longer treks and navigation excursions.
Explore unique fauna and flora.
Activity: "W" Trek Highlight
Schedule: 9:00 am - 6:30 pm
Distance: 2.5 km. / 1.5 mi.
Difficulty: Easy
Walking time: 1:30 hrs.
Altitude point: 200 m. / 660 ft.
We start off driving across the park, admiring the view of Paine Grande and its snowy peaks, and Los Cuernos with its black, granite horn-like spires. We will drive up to Grey Lake and wander along its gravel beach. Here we'll embark on a catamaran to ride across the icy waters towards the towering blue walls of Grey glacier. After this incredible up-close look at the glacier, we drive back to EcoCamp.
Please be aware that the Grey glacier boat trip is subject to availability and weather conditions. (During September and May, the boat trip to Grey glacier may be canceled as the boat requires a minimum of 15 passengers to sail, which might not be reached in some cases. If this is the case, the alternative excursion will be Salto Grande and Condor Lookouts.
Activity: Wildlife & Nature

Distance: 6.3 km. / 3.9 mi.
Difficulty: Demanding
Walking time: 3:30 hrs.
Altitude point: 650 m. / 2.106 ft.
We begin the drive to Lake Grey where you should pause and raise your eyes to the huge peaks of the east. This wind-swept rock monster is Cerro Ferrier which, standing at 1.599 m./5. 246 ft., makes a rewarding (but intense) hike.
First, you’ll pass through a forest that gives a fascinating insight into the diversity of austral trees. Here you’ll meet all the classics, lenga, coihue, ñire, and if you’re lucky you’ll meet the famous South American deer, the huemul, which is a national natural monument (keen-eyed watchers will remember it from the Chilean coat of arms).
Activity: Wildlife & Nature
Schedule: 9:00 am - 6:30 pm
Distance: 15 km. / 9.3 mi.
Difficulty: Moderate
Walking time: 5 hrs.
Altitude point: 436 m. / 1.430 ft.
We’ll start our day at 8:00 am with breakfast at EcoCamp and a moment to prepare our Box Lunch before boarding our van at 9:00 am. Our ride takes us past the Lazo Weber Estancia where we’ll enter the National Park via Laguna Verde and begin our hike. The Lazo Weber Trail is packed with native flora and wildlife all with the mountainous Paine range on our right. The hike is rather easy and apart from a few hills, the trail remains rather flat. We’ll stop a moment to refuel by the magical Laguna Honda and enjoy the sights and sensations of the gorgeous landscape and fresh breeze. On our way, we will hike through one of the quietest forests in the national park, a fantastic opportunity to observe native trees such as the Lenga and the Coihue.
The rest of our hike takes us to a lookout point (El Toro Lookout) where we’ll be wowed with a 360 degree view of the Paine mountain range, the Patagonian Andes, and a suite of rivers and lakes (including the Paine, Grey, and Serrano Rivers, and Lake Toro, the largest in the region). An hour’s descent* towards Paine River will see us reunited with our van. But before we go back to EcoCamp, we’ll search for more animals to photograph and take a final moment to enjoy the scenery. At about 6:30 pm, we’ll arrive back at our “dome sweet dome”, ready to share in a tasty dinner and talk about our day hiking the Lazo Weber Trail.
*Please have in mind that the last part of the trail may be difficult for people that experiences vertigo, as there is a steep descent through gravel until we get to the van.
Note: If the weather is not good, an alternative excursion will be provided
Activity: "W" Trek Highlight
Schedule: 7:00/8:00 am - 6:00 pm
Distance: 22 km. / 14 mi.
Difficulty: Demanding
Walking time: 8 - 10 hrs.
Altitude point: 897 m. / 2.942 ft.
After a hearty breakfast we set off from Ecocamp towards Hostería Las Torres and join the uphill path to Ascencio Valley on the Tower's eastern face. Dry mountain spots, beech forests and small rivers line the scenic walk towards the valley. Our big challenge comes as we climb the steep moraine, a mass of boulders leading us towards one of the world's most famous views overlooking the Towers. The famous Torres del Paine (2,900 m/ 9,400 ft) consist of three gigantic granite monoliths, the remains of a great cirque sheared away by the forces of glacial ice. After an uphill slog, the Towers eventually come into full view, rising majestically before us, with the glacial lake visible below. Is there any better place in the world to have lunch? After feasting on the view and our picnic, we backtrack along the same trail through Ascencio Valley and return to EcoCamp.
Activity: "W" Trek Highlight
Schedule: 6:30 am - 8:40 pm*
Distance: 19 km. / 11.8 mi.

Altitude point: 527 m. / 1.729 ft.
After breakfast, drive to Pudeto Dock on the shores of Lake Pehoé and board the catamaran to the lake’s northwestern shore, where the demanding trek to French Valley begins. Following a steep ascent into the heart of the Paine Massif, we reach a lookout with spectacular mountain scenery, then pause for a picnic before descending through rolling grasslands and light forest to Refugio Paine Grande on Lake Pehoé. We then sail back to Pudeto and return to EcoCamp.
In Sept, Apr, and May, when catamaran service is reduced or suspended, the excursion is replaced by Lookouts of Paine (Mon & Thu) or Laguna Inge & Cuernos Lookout (Sat).
Times vary depending on navigation schedules.
