It all kicks off at Mecure Centro Port Macquarie, where you’ll check in, grab your rider pack and get sorted for six days of Beach to Bush adventure! This is your chance to meet the crew, swap stories and dial into ride mode.

Once everyone’s in, we’ll roll into the pre-ride briefing. Everything you need to know about the route, daily flow, safety support and what to expect over six awesome days of riding! It’s quick, clear, and gets you ready for what’s coming.

Then it’s time to relax, our welcome dinner brings the whole crew together over a great meal and slick banter. You’ll meet fellow riders, connect with our support team, and hear a few words from our guests who help make this event what it is.

With bikes prepped, bags packed, and the vibe locked in, this night sets the tone for the week ahead — one big ride,2200+ kilometres and the kind of stories that stick with you long after the dust settles.

Mecure Metro Port Macqaurie

We kick off the 2027 Big Bore tour by rolling out of Port Macquarie and setting our sights straight for the iconic Oxley Highway. Day 1 is all about dialing in the bikes, blowing off the work-week dust, and getting a taste of everything from legendary blacktop twisties to fast, sweeping state forest tracks.

After carving up the Oxley, we drop off the tarmac and hit the dirt, cutting through forestry lines that test the suspension and get the dust flying. We’ll push through the hinterland before rolling into historical Wingham for a well-earned refuel, a solid pub lunch, and a quick breather with the crew.

The afternoon serves up tighter back-country gravel and winding forestry runs as we work our way toward the coast. We’ll finish the leg pulling up at Serenity, Diamond Beach—bikes parked, boots off, cold drinks in hand as we enjoy the sunset over Diamond Beach!

Serenity Dimond Beach

We leave the coast behind and head straight for the high country, tackling some of the most diverse and rewarding terrain on the entire tour. Leaving Diamond Beach, we climb into the cool air of Barrington Tops, carving through dense rainforest sections and sweeping gravel ridges that let the big bores stretch their legs.

Once through the Tops, riders get a choice: stick to the main dirt lines or tackle the optional Barry Station track. If you take the challenge, you’ll be rewarded with a legendary run featuring 20 river and creek crossings! Both routes converge as we wind down through the hills into the historic gold-mining town of Nundle for a well-earned regroup and refuel.

The final leg stretches across open country gravel and fast-flowing backcountry roads toward the country music capital. We’ll roll into Tamworth late afternoon, park up for the night, and gather around the table for cold beers, warm food, and plenty of talk about who took the best line through the river.

We roll out of Tamworth and charge straight into the heart of the New England tablelands. The morning kicks off with a run through Bendemeer Station, serving up fast, sweeping station tracks and open farmland runs where the big bikes can really stretch their legs and find a rhythmic flow.

From there, we turn turn to hit Bungendore Spur. With its rocky ascents, narrow ridge-top tracks, and elevated views that make every bit of effort worth it. After dropping off the spur, we link together back-country gravel lines through Manilla before pushing north to Barraba for a well-earned refuel and a chance to reset.

The afternoon keeps the energy high with a mix of fast-flowing gravel, dirt interconnectors, and outback twisties as we gain elevation toward Armidale.

We lock into an action-packed loop day out of Armidale, hitting a route hand-picked and put together by the legends at Green Valley Farm to showcase the absolute finest dirt and high-country terrain in the region. It’s a day of pure adventure riding, charging through the best hidden gems, timber lines and sweeping country tracks the tablelands have to offer.

The morning session carves through fast-flowing gravel ridges and undulating backroads, building up a massive appetite as we push through the hinterland. Midday brings us straight to the gates of Green Valley Farm a legendary working sheep farm and the hosts of the annual Adventure moto Dirty Weekend where we’ll pull up for a top-tier lunch and kick it with the crew to soak up the atmosphere.

After lunch, we throw a leg back over to tackle the second half of their custom loop, linking together snappy dirt connectors and twisty backcountry runs as we wind our way back into Armidale. We’ll roll into town with dusty gear, park the bikes, and grab a cold drink around the dinner table to toast a cracking day on the trails.

We leave Armidale and start dropping off the high country, heading east toward the coast on a route stacked with iconic vistas and cracking dirt. The morning kicks off with a sweep up to Point Lookout, offering massive panoramic views across the wilderness before we drop through Dorrigo and carve along sections of the legendary Waterfall Way.

From Dorrigo, we dive off the tarmac and hit fast forestry tracks that wind down through dense rainforest and lush hinterland toward Bellingen. After regrouping in the valley, we track south toward Taylors Arm to pull up at the famous Pub With No Beer for a well-earned lunch, cold drinks, and a solid yarn with the crew in one of Australia’s most storied watering holes.

The final afternoon leg cuts through coastal hinterland gravel and sweeping dirt tracks as we push all the way to Nambucca Heads. We’ll roll into town with the ocean breeze in our helmets, park the bikes, and grab a seat around the table for a massive seafood feed and cold beers right by the water.

We set out on the final leg of the tour, leaving Nambucca Heads and tracking south along the coast to wrap up an epic 6-day loop. The morning kicks off by diving straight back into the dirt, carving through fast, flowing forestry tracks that cut through the hinterland all the way down to Kempsey for a final mid-tour regroup.

From Kempsey, we hit one of the most iconic adventure stretches on the North Coast—Point Plomer Road. This unsealed coastal run serves up raw dirt, sandy sweeps, and beachfront tracks that bring us right to the edge of the Pacific Ocean. We’ll follow the trail all the way to the iconic Settlement Point ferry, loading the bikes onto the barge to cross the Hastings River.

Rolling off the ferry, we carve the last couple of kilometres back into Port Macquarie to complete the journey where it all began. Bikes parked, gear unpacked, dust washed off, and cold beers raised all around as we celebrate six cracking days of mateship, big bores, and unmatched Aussie dirt.
