This was one of the best tours I have done. ACE were very professional - and our Guide (Nimesh) and Porters (Birkaji & Dil) were exceptional all the way. This is a wonderful experience - highly recommended. I would suggest some training prior to going so you can prepare your body. Altitude sickness is real and can effect anyone at anytime. Try some local hikes prior if you can, it will help you immensely - and avoid taking tablets if you can. Until you have too. There is no need to start prior to your trek.

Our trekking guide Ramesh was terrific; he did everything possible to make our trek comfortable and smooth, and we would recommend him very much. Despite the difficult accommodations at times, he did his best to make things easier. I would give him a five star rating, and I think ACE could have provided more information about the difficulty of the La Bouche East summit hike, as it is steep and involves a bit of steep rope climbing. Also the trek is not for the untrained or faint of heart or those who will not like the cold, lack of modern bathroom facilities in the tea houses at higher altitudes above Namche Bazaar. The climbing sherpa could have been more fluent in English, as that would have helped our hike up the summit.

The Annapurna Base Camp trek with Ace was fantastic! We had a group of three since it was early in the season — all of us return clients from different parts of the world — and Nimesh was out guide. He was so patient, kind, professional, and funny! We had the time of our lives! We were on a similar schedule with groups guided by Sam and Ram: Ram was our guide on a previous trek and we think the world of him. Sam was also absolutely tops. Every one of the guides, junior guides, and porters we’ve interacted with has gone above and beyond literally every day for their clients. I’m so impressed! The trek itself was difficult. In fact, despite claims that it’s easier than EBC, we think it was much harder because of the jillions of stairs involved. It is lower elevation, which makes it easier when it comes to altitude sickness and general exhaustion the last couple of days, but the route itself is considerably more physically demanding. It is also beautiful in an entirely different way than EBC. My favorite parts were sunrise at Poon Hill and at Base Camp, as well as the days we trekked through the magical rhododendron forests. They were breathtaking! As far as I’m concerned, Ace is the best tour company in the Himalayas. I’ve been on two tours with them (Everest and Annapurna) and will be going on a third later this year. There are many reasons why there are so many repeat clients, including safety, professionalism and great personalities of their junior and senior guides and porters, their many strong connections with tea houses and other places along the routes, and the fact that they do all they can to support Nepali people, including sourcing their (really awesome) bags, hats, and gators from local businesses. I definitely recommend ABC and Ace! I wouldn’t have chosen anyone else for such an epic trip!

Awesome Company & Team - Recommended! I recently went on a 23-day Everest Base Camp Trekking trip with Ace the Himalaya and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our guide, Rajendra Neupane, was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, making the trek an enjoyable and educational experience. He was always ready to answer any questions we had and provided us with valuable insights into the local culture and customs. The owner of the company, Prem, was equally wonderful, ensuring that everything was organized and that we had a safe and comfortable trip. He and his team went above and beyond to make sure that everyone's needs were met, and even helped me when I fell sick and couldn't finish the Island Peak Expedition. Their kindness and compassion made all the difference during a difficult time. Overall, I would highly recommend Ace the Himalaya and their team for anyone looking for an unforgettable trekking experience in Nepal. They truly care about their clients and are dedicated to providing the best possible service. Thank you again to Rajendra, Prem, and the whole team for an amazing trip!
