Thank you, Catherine, for an amazing experience in Tulum. Your instruction style (and playlist) hit all the right notes even for a novice yoga practitioner such as myself. In short, I love your style! I felt supported in going at my own pace, the variety was incredible, and the group was just great. I also loved the off-site Cenote experience and the temazcal (sweat lodge). The food was fantastic and the sea and sun were just what I needed to hit reset. Thanks again!
This was my second retreat with Catherine and it was just as wonderful as the first one! Catherine does a great job of customizing the experience based on what the group wants. It was just the right mix of yoga, beach, relaxing, activities, sun and fun! I highly recommend it.
I had such an amazing experience on this retreat. Each day started with a quiet walk on the beach, followed by great coffee, tons of fruit and vegan yogurt. Then off for a couple hours of yoga, meditation and journalling. More fresh food followed after yoga class and then the afternoons were free to relax and recharge. Swimming in the sea, getting a spa treatment, or just reading a book. Later on, we had another delicious dinner. The food at Amansala was excellent. Highlights of the trip were obviously the yoga sessions every morning with Catherine (she's the best), a Reiki session recommended by Catherine at Maya Tulum with Chandree, my friend Paulette saving a baby sea turtle on our last morning in Tulum, the mermaid experience with Fatima at a cenote and meeting and spending time with all the other like minded friends on the retreat. What's great about this retreat is that everything is optional. Do as much or as little yoga as you like. Opportunities to explore Tulum on your own time and yet do some activities as a group as well. Although it was the rainy season in Tulum, there wasn't much rain. We saw lots of different, cool cloud formations, double rainbows and a full moon. It all made for a wonderful, much needed vacation and I'm so happy I went. I hope to make it an annual trip.
The week I spent with Catherine in Mexico was transformative. She thoughtfully mapped out each day with an intentional theme for purpose and growth. She took time to workshop poses and inversions to deepen our understanding of the yoga practice. She provided an atmosphere of learning, relaxation and empowerment. We stayed in paradise, and woke up every morning to unbelievably serene surroundings of nature. I left truly feeling like I was fully connected and balanced in mind, body and spirit. She inspired me to go further than I've ever gone before in my yoga practice, and instilled in me a desire to keep the themes and lessons of this retreat alive in my everyday life. This is truly one of the best things I've ever done for myself, and I'm eternally grateful to Catherine.
What an amazing experience from start to finish. I was shocked that this was Catherine's first time leading a retreat, because it was well organized, the flow/schedule was great, the group was cohesive, and it had a relaxed vibe. The perfect balance of scheduled activities and free time.
It was an amazing retreat. Thoughtfully organized schedule, beautiful location, comfortable accommodation, super tasty and healthy food, drinks, amazing beach -- everything was perfect. It was equal parts of relaxing and fun.
The retreat with Catherine was fantastic! She did an excellent job coordinating all of the details of the trip to really make sure that everyone was comfortable and had a great time. Her itinerary was perfect - flexible, with something for everyone - and her yoga classes were great. I would do another retreat with her any day!
