I have always wanted to do this. First time backpacking and the Trans Catalina trail under the weather conditions we had was no joke!
Good, easy-going company and daily challenges; I have learnt that trekking poles are your best friend.
I had a ton of fun. Many thanks to the leader Andrew S and unofficial co-leader Sean O'brien; both were gangsta'.
Looking forward to my next backpacking trip.

In the fall last year I went on my first hike. It was a challenging hike. This was my first hike with GCA, and the guys were really friendly to me as a newcomer. This set the stage for me wanting to join in other CHA activities and events.
