The full moon session with Kayla was more than I could have imagined! The morning flow was so wonderful--challenging but grounding and left me feeling so ready to take on the day. The evening meditation and manifestation brought together so many wonderful people to share their stories and hopes. If you have the chance to participate in a full moon session, I highly recommend it. Thanks Kayla for creating the space for us to share, and feel, and manifest.
I totally recommend this retreat. It provided me not just an intense physical practice, but also a soulful spiritual journey. Thank you to Kayla and my retreat companions for sharing their light and energy!
I just had probably the best week of my life, having fun and sharing with the most amazing people, learning about ourself and other, growing together around yoga and puppies. Kayla and Rivka did their best to make this week perfect and simple, and I am so thankful for their work and wha they taught us To the next glow retreat, cheers !
Such an amazing experience. This trip was so transformative and rewarding and just so much fun. Kayla and Shan are wonderful teachers that care and connect with you, and are genuine in providing support whenever you are in your journey. The Cove is a magical place to visit and it felt so good to get to eat delicious vegan food everyday. I will definately be back on more trips as soon as possible!

Trip of a lifetime and life changing in so many positive ways. The yoga, the people, the food and the accommodations were 5 star!

I initially chose this retreat because I loved how everything was included in the price. Hotel, breakfast, dinner, yoga and excursions were all coordinated so I didn’t have to really think once I got there. The retreat itself was beyond my expectations. The teachers Kayla, Cait, and Karina were such beautiful, inspiring, warm people and incredible teachers. I felt blessed to be their student. I learned so much from them and the other students on the retreat. I feel like I came away with the serenity and tools I was looking for and gained many friends in the process. Kayla is GOALS on many levels and I must admit I felt a little star struck witnessing her beautiful practice. I will surely be attending another of her retreats. She is truly a light in this world!

Life changing, inspirational, challenging in all the best ways
Wonderful and transformative. Kayla and Sarah were amazing retreat leaders. They were so open and warm to us and facilitated a relaxing and connective experience. The yoga classes themselves were perfect. Some were extremely zen and some really helpful workshops that helped improve my overall physical yoga practice.
This was a life changing trip and I met so many amazing women. I will never forget who I met and what I took away on this trip. I wish there was more yoga offered. Even if I had one more class a day like the very first class we had with Kayla it would've felt more like a yoga intensive. Also the hot tub and sauna were advertised as perks for the trip but the sauna was broken halfway into the trip and getting the hot tub turned on was difficult. I do realize that is not GLOW yoga's problem, its Dream Sea's but I just wanted to write it as thats my feedback on the retreat as a whole. Kayla and Sarah are beautiful humans who I hope to meet again in another retreat. I have been recommending GLOW retreats already and this definitely will not be the last one I do. Thank you so much for an incredible experience.

BEST.RETREAT.EVER. This was hands down one of the most magical weeks of my life. I enjoyed every minute and I'm so grateful for the opportunity to connect with and meet so many incredible women. Kayla is an absolute rockstar! And Sarah is the actual best human being alive. They were a magnificent team and helped us along every step of the journey. I could not recommend this retreat enough. I'm so happy I took the leap and went to Portugal! I highly recommend this trip to anyone even remotely interested.

This retreat was a little disappointing, not as much mindfullness and mediation as mentioned on the agenda, plus 1 session was cut from the timetable. The villa had also been overbooked, so I was on a put up bed which collapsed on me a few times. The teachers did not host and reach out to the full group at all, there was a big divide in the group and this was only enhanced by the teachers, I did not feel welcome for much of the week. The Dreamsea Surf House and staff were amazing and the food was excellent. Overall the yoga classes were great but there was not enough "onandoffthematt" for me. Probably a great retreat as an introduction to yoga.

I never thought I would live such a transformative retreat when I registered... A (re)connection at so many levels. Five days of amazing yoga practices led by the beautiful and inspiring yoginis Kayla and Aubry 💚, chilling, surfing, laughing, sharing with all those wonderful Goddesses. My heart is full of Love and unforgettable memories of this new but eternal sisterhood. Thank you Kayla and Aubry, thank you my everlasting Glow Yoga family for being who you are, for spreading Love. I love you Forever Elodie

Everything about this trip and experience with GLOW Yoga was uplifting. Overall, Villa Mandala, Surf Maroc, and their staff (especially Caz and Miriam) were incredible and attentive, finding answers to our many requests. The chefs did an excellent job serving us three vegan meals a day with lunches to go while we were out on our adventures! Surf Maroc sent drivers for us on various occasions and were happy to help arrange any service from surfing lessons to massage. We loved the villa, the pool, and the shala just as much as we liked going out on excursions that Surf Maroc set up like Paradise Valley. The daily yoga and meditation were some of the most connected I've been to myself in a long time. It was so healing, humbling, and necessary to be the student for a week and not the teacher. Kayla's verbiage takes you to another place when she's cuing and Aubry's fiercely loving meditations hold space for hearts to open. I learned so much more than asana. Thank you for all of it!
Amazing. Great food. Beautiful aesthetic.
I had an amazing time volunteering! It was a bit unorganized at times with pick ups and getting to the clinic, but that’s understandable for it being the first project. I loved staying at lotus shores. The yoga was fantastic, the food was amazing, and it was so peaceful. Everyone I met was so wonderful and made the whole experience even better. The volunteering aspect was so rewarding and I loved being able to be a part of such an amazing cause. Overall it was an amazing experience and I’m very greateful to have been a part of it! Thank you :)
Extremely grateful to have found this trip via Kayla and Kindred Connection, but this particular week was extremely unorganized...this was the feedback felt by other folks during the week as well. Mix-up with the volunteer dates: most people anticipated the project ending on October 31 (not the actual October 30) this can alter flights, accomodation, your deposit and balance due. Kindred Connection Street Dog (& Cat) majorly lacks monetary transparency. From volunteer sign up costs, money raised online, to local donations at registration desks - none of it is calculated and posted for transparency: this really confused me as I was chased and shamed for money after thoroughly communicating in advance my change in volunteering dates - there needs to be 100% transparency when running an NGO as this is the major issue with all of them globally. There wasn't much work to do when there wasn't a clinic day which can be frustrating for folks who show up really wanting to contribute. It wasn't specified in the description that there would be specific clinic days (the dates and village locations are organized on posters and advertised online and in the towns, so look out for them on instagram (@puppypuddlesiargao) and be sure to show up on and around the surgery clinic days) It seemed like more work could have been organized beforehand for volunteers during the days when the pop-up spay/neuter clinics were not active. There also isn't any mention on WeTravel of the two major animal foundations that Kindred Connection is partnering with locally - Philippine Pet Birth Control Center Foundation (the veterinarians from Manila) and Puppy Puddle Siargao. There isn't any wish list posted and if you ask via email in advance you're asked just to bring cash donation. If you are traveling from a developed country, it is very easy and cheap to bring crucial materials like; an animal specific shaving razor, surgery instruments, gauze, medical tape, surgery drapes and the like....even collars and leashes would really be useful to bring and donate as many locals do not have the money for leash and collar for their pets and it's MUCH safer to have these on the animals while they are waiting for surgery and when waking up after surgery. I spent most of my time with the doctors and was told they desperately need certain items as their tools rust & burn out quickly and are all usually donated second hand as they are expensive on these islands. Cash is spent for vaccines, syringes, veterinary flights, food etc. This was extremely frustrating to learn - i could have brought a lot of these items from NYC, if only a wish list was researched & prepared in advance! Lastly, although we sign a waiver with the risks involved, it should be reiterated in the WeTravel description and in email to have at minimum, your anti-rabies and tetanus shot vaccination up to date. The work is super risky even if you are comfortable working with animals in stressful situations. Much love, DZ

This trip was magical! Before this retreat I had practiced yoga maybe 4 hours my entire life. Kayla and Cait made me feel welcomed and confident. Through their empowering sessions I was able to push my body in ways I never thought possible. All of the women at the retreat were incredible. The atmosphere was one filled with love happiness and trust. I felt free to come as I was, shed parts of me that I no longer needed, and grow. This is a truly life changing experience that I have not stopped recommending to anyone who will listen. Kayla created a sanctuary where all were welcomed and no one left the same. I am already counting down until next year!
It was an amazing experience that is still impacting my life. I thought it was going to be hard for me because I had never before practiced yoga but Kayla and Cait were awesome. I didn't feel uncomfortable or that I wasn't doing what I was supposed to do, I felt free, doing my best on my own pace. I felt in peace, able to silent my thoughts for seconds for me was a huge accomplished. Connected with myself and with the girls in a way I never ever thought I could. I feel lighter, my heart does, my expectations of myself. Im so grateful with Kayla and Cait for this extraordinary experience, zero regrets! Thanks so much for be dedicated to help so many women to heal, to love themselves.

Amazing! Kayla was so helpful and welcoming the entire time. Based on the itinerary I wasn’t sure if there were enough planned activities but once we were there, the environment was so relaxed and friendly that there was always some activity to join. I also loved getting to hear Kayla’s work through GLOW. I highly recommend this retreat to anyone wanting fun and relaxation.

My retreat with GLOW in Portugal was incredible! I went into this experience with zero expectations and left feeling fulfilled and so inspired. From the very beginning, Kayla was clear that this was OUR time...She was flexible with the schedule, which made every day comfortable and stress-free. Kayla herself is an amazing teacher/human and made the retreat feel effortless! Her fellow teachers Rivka and Sarah and her photographer Annie added so much great energy and light to the week! (Seriously...Such a great group of females!) So, if you've been thinking about going on one of Kayla's retreats... DO IT. I can honestly say this is one of those life changing, soul lifting experiences that I will forever be grateful for. Can't wait for the next one!
