My wife and I booked 4 days of private Day Trips with CarpeDM to Cotopaxi, Mindo, Otavalo, and Mital de Mundo/Cityline through online bookings before we left thanks to a recommendation from our Hotel Basilica. All of the trips we took were just excellent! Our guide, Lincoln, was amazing and thanks to him we had one of the the best vacations ever! He had great knowledge of history and of the local areas that really helped us appreciate this beautiful country even more. Lincoln picked us up promptly from our Hotel Basilica in historic Quito at 8am every morning and most days ended around 5-6 pm. Local lunch stops were included in most of the trips and there were other stops at local businesses like a chocolate maker, a bizcochos place, a leather market, and a rose cultivation green house, according to our preferences. Our guide and CarpeDM made this a memorable trip and a great experience of Ecuador for us. I would highly recommend Carpe DM to anyone going to Ecuador.

Amazing! Good price / travel balance and a really good guide.

Mindo is a great destination. CarpeDM provided an excellent guide in Lincoln who picked us up promptly from our hotel. We appreciated that he customized our adventure to our interests. Our first stop after breakfast was at Pululahua Volcano. So beautiful! We went on to stops at the hummingbirds (where we saw many birds including a toucan), butterflies, lunch and a stop in Mindo, the zip line, a walk in the cloud forest searching out toucans (we saw two more!), and the cable car back and forth between mountains.
