How Has COVID-19 Impacted Your Business?
My online prenatal yoga offerings more quickly became a reality thanks to COVID-19. Prior to COVID-19, I was focused on filling my prenatal yoga teacher training retreats and classes where I live in Joshua Tree, California. Today, I am teaching students in several time zones and training yoga teachers all over the world via Zoom.
In What Ways Has This Changed Your Perspective?
This outbreak is one of the best things that could happen for our world. It allows many of us to slow down a little, reflect, and grow closer if we so choose. For my life and business, it has been a time of unprecedented growth and opportunity. Making yoga more accessible for pregnant women, both cost-wise and regardless of location, is now truly possible given the current environment,”
What’s Your Current Business Outlook?
By serving a wider geographic area virtually, I was able to get more specific with my pregnant population and focus on what I do best: helping pregnant women relieve pain, have fun, relax, and keep active.
I used to spend hours thinking about how I could get pregnant women who live near me in Joshua Tree to come to a yoga class, and then even more time thinking about how I could fill my prenatal yoga teacher retreat.
I now think about how I can engage pregnant yoginis from around the world, many of whom are also aspiring prenatal yoga teachers, to join my growing online community.
