Top 5 Spotify Road Trip Playlists

Whether it’s visiting Hawaii or trekking up to Machu Picchu, we’re always up for an adventure!

While we love to travel the world, at WeTravel we know that you don’t always have to travel across oceans or countries to have an exciting adventure.

Going a road trip to explore nearby wonders and locales and is something that we recommend doing at least once in your life.

And what’s one of the best parts of a road trip? The road trip playlist of course!

The right playlist can make or break a trip, and if you do get it right then when you hear the songs on your road trip playlist in future it’ll transport you back to your travels.

While some people say that road trips can be time-consuming and boring, we don’t like to see them that way!

We think a road trip is a great way to travel locally and to discover some hidden gems that are right on your doorstep. You might even become closer to the people who join you on the road trip (or you might as well since you’re going to be stuck in a car with them for an extended period of time!).

But how do you find the perfect road trip playlist? We turned to Spotify to help us!

Here are five playlists that we found on Spotify that can help you beat the lulls of the long drive.

1. Good Vibes (3 hrs 10 min)

Are you a pop music lover who’s in dire need of some catchy tunes on your road trip playlist? Why not follow this catchy playlist then? With hits like Party in the U.S.A. and Crazy in Love, Good Vibes will get you tapping your toes and singing along. It’ll make you feel excited and pumped up for the journey ahead!

2. Hanging Out and Relaxing (6 hrs 26 min)

Perhaps you want a road trip playlist that will allow you to relax and concentrate on the long journey ahead. If that’s the case, then you should check out this playlist. Filled with songs like Such Great Heights by The Postal Service and Hold Back the River by James Bay, Hanging Out and Relaxing will help you sit back and enjoy the picturesque drive.

3. Good Times Great Oldies (3 hrs 25 min)

Maybe you want to revisit your childhood or the past on your travels. What better way to do this than to follow this road trip playlist and blast it while you drive along a stretch? Good Times Great Oldies can help you relive some great memories and create some new ones with nostalgic tunes like Hotel California by the Eagles and Whole Lotta Love by Led Zeppelin. With classics such as these, it’ll be hard not to break out into some impromptu karaoke during the roadtrip!

You’ll be able to de-stress, relax, and appreciate the drive.

5. Roadtrip with Friends (2 hours, 44 minutes)

We didn’t just choose this one because of its name (although, it is pretty fitting). This playlist has some great beats –  from Electric Feel by MGMT to Girls by The 1975 – that will not only provide the catchy background music for your drive but also energize you and your fellow travelers. With Roadtrip with Friends, you’ll start your road trip off on the right beat.

We hope that we’ve given you some great tunes to listen to while you’re traveling on the open road. When you go on your road trip, try listening to one of these playlists or if you have the time, all of them!

You’ll get to listen to different types of music and create some unforgettable memories along the way, so that maybe ten years from now, you’ll hear one of these songs and be taken back to this memorable moment in your life.
