Our trip to Greece was excellent and matched up with what we wanted to experience. Julia, at Somewhere We Know did an excellent job!! Julia tailored our trip to fit the places we wanted to see and the things we wanted to do. More importantly, Julia provided us with very detailed itenarary (including names, phone numbers, times, places and even how long it would take to walk some places). This, plus Julie was extremely responsive to every question we asked before and during the trip. During the trip we asked Julia about moving our seats on one of our flights and within a couple of hours it was done. And the flight was full!! Don't know how she did it but it got done. The hotel she found in Athens had a view of the Acropolis and was near all the main sites but the hotel itself was NOT on a busy street but rather on a quiet square which made it so nice to walk in and out of. We didn't see another one like that on a quiet square - most hotels were on busy streets. We would definitely recommend Julia and Somewhere We Know to anyone visiting Greece.

I had a great time, the accommodations were great (just a few minor glitches). The recommended restaurants to go were great. I met all sorts of wonderful people. Julia was always there when I needed her, with boats and wind conditions etc. Thanks again!

We enjoyed the tour tremendously - this was the best tour I have done by far in my travels over many years. The guide Panos was very knowledgeable and a phenomenal storyteller. Highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning about the history of democracy, philosophy and Athens.

The guide in Athens was particularly outstanding—the tours of the Acropolis Museum and the Parthenon were immersive, informative, and absolutely fascinating. It brought the history to life in the best way possible and was a real highlight of the trip. We didn’t have to worry about a single thing—every pickup and drop-off was punctual, and Julia stayed one step ahead at all times. She proactively handled check-ins for flights, hotels, apartments, and even rental cars. If any changes came up during the trip, they were instantly communicated and synced across all touchpoints—there was zero confusion or chaos at any time. All we had to do was show up and enjoy. That’s the kind of luxury Julia and somewhere we know delivered. Highly recommend if you’re looking for an stress-free, beautiful, and unforgettable travel experience.
