The first bike day will take you to Lake Garda: Lazise, Bardolino and the precious lake inland will give you unforgettable views. The itinerary then heads East and passes by some of the most important Cities of Art in Northern Italy: Verona, Vicenza, Padua. Enjoy the overnights in the city centers, perfect for an evening stroll, or an apertivo by ancient archietectures and lively squares. The ride takes you in an area dotted with Venetian villas and crossed by important waterways, such as Adige, Bacchiglione and Brenta. You’ll ride on cycle paths and secondary roads. The final destination of this tour is the unique City on the Water, with a final ride on the island of Lido, to discover a slow authentic Venice.

Overnight in Verona.
From the city center of Verona, you’ll bike towards Garda Lake among vineyards and olive trees. The view on the lake is wonderful: a charming blue mirror among high mountains. You can visit the villages of Garda and Bardolino, and then head back to the City of Love.
Second overnight in Verona.
After crossing the historic center of Verona, the route immediately reaches in the countryside and follows the course of the Adige river along a quiet cycle path. You’ll ride surrounded by the large crops of the Venetian plain, you’ll pass the village of Zevio and follow country roads until the Berici Hills. Today’s ride ends in Lonigo, an elegant and quiet town.
Overnight in Lonigo.
The itinerary follows the base of the verdant Berici Hills, following low traffic country lanes. Along the way you’ll pass by elegant Venetian Villas, small villages, vineyards and fields. You’ll face a couple of gentle climbs with nice views of the hills. Before getting to Vicenza you’ll pass by the famous Villa La Rotonda, perched on a small hill, and finally you’ll enter the beautiful city graced by the buildings designed by the architect Andrea Palladio.
Overnight in Vicenza.
You’ll follow a stretch of the Berici Cycle Route and then pedal along the Bacchiglione river bike path, in the countryside. Montegalda stands out among the villages you’ll cross. The route runs through an interesting natural area, passes by the castle of San Martino and finally arrives in the center of Padua.
Overnight in Padua.
Leave Padua cycling along Brenta river on secondary roads, in the countryside dotted by Venetian villas. Stop and visit one of this time capsules: these noble mansions will bring you back to the 16th century! Heading East, you’ll reach Mestre on the Venice Lagoon.
Overnight in Mestre.
This last ride is a bike&boat day! Cycle on the Freedom Bridge that connetcs the mainland with Venice downtown and reach Tronchetto. This is the departure of the ferry, which will take you to Lido island. The navigation lasts about 40 minutes and gives you the oportunity to see Venice shores (also San Marco!) from the water. Lido island is in between the lagoon and the sea. Houses and tiny squares are as the ones you can find in Venice center, but the atmosphere is much quieter here. If you want take a second ferry and ride Pellestrina island too (+20 km).
