Your journey begins in Marrakech before travelling across the High Atlas Mountains towards the Dades region. The landscape changes from dramatic mountain passes to valleys and historic kasbahs as you continue through Skoura, the Rose Valley, and the Road of 1,000 Kasbahs before reaching the Dades Gorge.

Continue through the Todra Gorges and the southern desert landscapes towards Merzouga and the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Experience a sunset camel ride across the Sahara before exploring the desert by 4x4, meeting a nomadic Berber family, and experiencing the cultural character of the region. From Merzouga, continue through the Rissani region and the palm-filled Draa Valley towards Ouarzazate, the Gateway to the Desert.

From Ouarzazate, explore the Atlas Film Studios and the UNESCO-listed Ait Benhaddou before travelling through the Atlas Mountains and returning to Marrakech. Spend your final full day discovering Marrakech’s gardens, palaces, tombs, and souks before departing Morocco, bringing together eight days of mountains, desert landscapes, cultural experiences, and historic towns.

After breakfast, depart Marrakech and travel across the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the dramatic Tizi n’Tichka Pass as the landscape changes from the city to mountain valleys and southern Morocco.

Continue through Skoura, the Rose Valley, and along the Road of 1,000 Kasbahs, taking in the changing scenery and historic character of the region before continuing towards the Dades Gorge.

As the day comes to an end, arrive in the Dades region and settle into your accommodation for the evening.
