The journey then moves toward the golden sands of Merzouga, where the environment opens into desert terrain. From Merzouga, the route continues toward Ouarzazate, passing through the Draa Valley. Today’s journey leads through the Todra Gorges, where towering canyon walls frame the desert sky. Continue via Erfoud, the “fossil capital” of Morocco, before reaching the edge of the Sahara.

Here, trade four wheels for four legs as you ride a camel across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, arriving just in time for a glowing sunset.
