Our trip to Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu was wonderful. Everything was perfectly organized, everything on time, the tour guides personable and very informative, and the hotel was fine and in a good location. There was an incredible amount to discover in the Sacred Valley, and visiting Machu Picchu was a breathtaking experience. We really enjoyed this tour, everything was stress-free and relaxed, and we can absolutely recommend Willka Travel and the tour guides.

Hell of a trip! Had a private guide for Machu Pichu who was great! Drivers were all dependable and friendly.

Anderson our guide was fantastic with his experience around the world rafting.  It was a technical rafting adventure due to the many rocks we went around,  onto and over all the while keeping us in the raft. Almost fell out a couple of times but that's why you go rafting for the adrenaline experience. Then zip line across the river and back yahoo. And of course the sauna experience after rafting, and a great lunch. If you like the thrills this is the way to go 

Sophia was our tour guide while touring the Machu Picchu ruins.  She met us promptly outside the entrance gates and walk us through the process of entering the ruins.  

Sophia's english was very good and she had a lot of knowledge about we were seeing.  Not only was she knowledgeable but she was passionate in how she spoke about the Inca culture and history.  She gave the impression that she was proud of her culture, history and heritage.  

We would certainly use Sophia again.

GUIDE SERVICES IN MACHU PICCHU

Awesome adventure with our guides to Maras and Moray. Great ATVs riding thru small villages and the Sacred Valley. Discovering the history and cultures of these places was eye opening. The chocolate and salt tasting was an added bonus, where we bought    chocolate and salt of many varieties to share with the friends and family at home. As we say Go for it and have an adventure of a lifetime. 

ATV TOUR THROUGH THE SACRED VALLEY Half Day

Overall good experience.  Our guide was great.  Picked up on time. Scheduled stayed on time.

The best part of the guided service was that at each step, someone met us from the company and made sure we connected to the next mode of transportation, and once at Aguas Calientes, someone photographed us so the guide at Machu Picchu knew who to look for. There's room for improvement though. The driver who picked us up at around 4 AM didn't speak a bit of English, so we just went along without knowing how long the drive would be, nor any information about what would happen once we arrived at the train station. The van didn't have any markings, and he did not have a badge nor an identifying shirt, etc. After the train ride, again the person who found us didn't have a badge nor identifying garment, and had little English skills. Although these are fairly minor issues, since we weren't part of a group, it would have been better for these reps to be easily identified and provide more information.

The plan was good, food was good, the guide was knowledgeable but very lazy which degraded our experience. We paid high price for call group experience and compared to other agencies we didn’t get a return for our money 

COMBO SACRED VALLEY

La experiencia en sí es maravillosa. Lo que no estuvo bien fué el guía: se dedicó a una pequeña parte del grupo y los demás ni sabíamos qué hacer.  Al final del día quiso "congraciarse", pero fué demasiado tarde. Lástima porque el lugar es espectacular. 

El primer día, dedicado al Valle Sagrado fué muy agradable.  Un excelentes guía y conductor. Buenos restaurantes y un hotel limpio con cuartos amplios y buen desayuno.  Una agradable sorpresa. 
El guía de Machu Pichu también fué bueno, aunque al final tenía un poquito de afán,  lo mismo que el conductor para el regreso a Cusco.

I had a great time on my Sacred Valley full day trip. Our guide was informative and knowledgeable and worked very hard to keep everyone on time.  The sites were so interesting and the information fascinating.


Communication with Wilkatravel was  timely and helpful. I messaged a question at 10 pm for the following morning and I received an answer within minutes. Guides for both trips were excellent. Darwin and Eduardo were knowledgeable, patient, and aware of our needs. Transportation was seamless including pick up, bus, train, return trip. Lunch on Sacred Valley trip was enjoyable. Overall an excellent experience.

Communication with WilkaTravel was timely, clear, and helpful. Transportation was seamless. Breakfast/lunch was enjoyable. Guide was excellent. Hilton was patient, knowledgeable, aware of the capabilities of the group. Entire experience was excellent. 

Humantay Lake hike Full Day

Departure from aguas clientèles ok but signalé could improve. Buses and short trip really fine. But return is a catastrophy! Poor organization: not enough buses: line standing along the narrow road along 600 to 800m. I precisely measured: 55mn from standing in line to getting into the bus to go back.

BUS TICKETS TO MACHU PICCHU

The trip was great, we visited a lot of interesting and beautiful places. But unfortunately, we were the only ones who didn't understand Spanish. That's why the guide had to speak English as well. For some incomprehensible reason, unlike our other guides in Latin America, he didn't speak one language fluently and then switch to the other. He constantly switched from one language to the other, usually after one sentence. Therefore, it was very difficult to perceive and understand what he was trying to tell us.

What an amazing tour! The landscapes and sights were absolutely breathtaking — a perfect blend of natural beauty and cultural richness. Both our guide and driver were exceptional throughout the day, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable.
Our guide's deep passion for the Inca civilization truly brought the history to life. His knowledge and storytelling added a magical touch to the journey, helping us connect more deeply with each archaeological site we visited. Thanks to his guidance, we not only saw stunning views but also gained a real appreciation for the history behind them.

The tour was very well organized. The guide, Umberto, was a very nice man, very knowledgeable, and able to lead the group well. We saw everything we wanted to see, without rushing, and with great attention. I wholeheartedly recommend you.

We had a great time. But with al those million visitors a year. Why is the embarking to Machu Picchu so amateurish. Waiting in a long line, people who not authorised to check my passport etc. Can’t believe that in 2025/2026. 

Out Guide was amazing. He did a good job.

We had the place nearly for us alone and left when late morning the majority of visitors entered. A highlight our South American tour!

De starttijden van de toegangskaart en de rondleiding correspondeerden niet met elkaar. Dat was niet gecommuniceerd en erg vervelend omdat de eindtijd daarmee verschoof en de trein (duur!) al geboekt was. 
We zijn erg boos geworden en hebben uiteindelijk een vervangende gids gekregen. Deze was helaas niet zo goed verstaanbaar. 
Bezoek aan de MP vonden we het wel waard. Erg toeristisch maar ze houden het schoon en simpel. We hadden het niet willen missen.

Ecerything was perfectly orginized for the Machu Picchu visit, very good communication before the visit. Strongly recommande.

I had a great time. The Quad bike tour was lots of fun and safe. The salt mines were stunning too and our guide was really good ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ . He gave us a good account of everything we ought to know about the salt mines and the Sacred Valley. 

O itinerário não foi o acordado. Não paramos no El Mirador de Taray e em Ollantaytambo terminamos as 3:30 , sendo que no site informava " o tour terminar em Ollantaytambo por volta das 4:30 da tarde". Não justificava ter feito este último passeio com tanta pressa. 

Everything went better than expected. All the buses, trains and tour were on time. I loved the constant communication to prepare us for our tour. We were walked to our train and to our bus to Machu Picchu. Our tour guide Americo was the best. He took us to the best spots and took pictures of us all over the site. He was not only a great guide but a master photographer. It was the experience of a lifetime. 
Willka really took care of us when our original tour was cancelled through a different company. I’m so grateful that they rescheduled our tour at an even better price. They made everything so easy.

My partner and I were super glad we made this trip with Willa Travel, they provided accurate information and made sure that everything went smooth and on time. I was very grateful with Americo on coming to our hotel where we stayed in Aguas Calientes and gave us exact information for the Machu Picchu trip. The next morning when taking the bus, everything went according planning, simply great! 
At the Machu Picchu entrance Americo greeted us and told us that our tour guide is already waiting for us after checkpoint. I believe his name was Ilcides? I can't remember... Machu Picchu was just SO AMAZING that I forgot our tour guide's name hahaha! Which btw has A Lot of knowledge and told us Everything on point! I loved it! Everything was worth it and I recommend Willka Travel. Thank You Guys ! You made my trip a truly once in a lifetime memory. 

It was a very good trip, a great experience. It is really worth the tour. The guide was very kind and shared a lot of information.

We had a great day at Machu Picchu.  Our guide Americo was extremely knowledgeable and helpful.  The views were amazing.  Our trip from Cusco and back was seamless.  All of our transportation was arranged and on time.  I would definitely recommend Wilka Travel. 

The guides we amazing and took care of us the whole time. They picked us up from the air bnb and were incredibly knowledgeable. Its a early morning and really hard hike but absolutely worth it! 

It was a well priced ticket and all ran smoothly. What I didn’t realise is that whoever you book with, you use the same standard buses. So in reality , other than the good customer service , the experience is the same, whichever firm you choose to book with. 

This experience was amazing. We had Katy as our tour guide, and we did both circuit 1 and 3. Katy was incredibly knowledgeable about the Inca civilization. We came away with so much more knowledge. Katy was kind, she went with our pace, explained so much and answered all our questions. I would certainly recommend Willka travel and specifically Katy as your tour guide for anything in Peru! 

The valley is beautiful and the salt mines are fascinating. Our driver Frank was great. Our guide however was not the best. He did the bare minimum and was watching inappropriate soap operas on his phone during the drive. There were also a lot of hidden fees. On top of the charge you still needed to pay $93 soles extra to enter all the sites that was not included in the original price.

We had a great time. Javier, our guide, was super nice, very attentive and knowledgeable. We asked for a tour in Spanish but we are not fluent so when we didn’t know something, he would translate for us. He took amazing photos of the group. It wasn’t rushed nor slow, it was at the perfect pace. The lunch was good and diverse. Edgar was a professional driver for the Peruvian roads (the scariest part was Maras and it was totally ok) and kept our backpacks safe in the van. We were a group of 6 (4 of us and another couple) which was a good number of people. Cheers from Portugal :D

We booked our entire trip to Cusco and Machu Picchu through Travel Centre US. Our agent Eric subcontracted through travel.com also known as Willkatravel. We worked with an agent Rolan who then took care of our tickets into Machu Picchu, the bus from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu and the guide. The agent Rolan refused to confirm the trip to our primary agent agent, stating the information was confidential. Yet Travel Centre had paid wetravel to book the tickets. Further when I asked Rolan to then provide a receipt for the booking he refused. So we didn’t know if we were booked or not. Then 6 days before the trip we received notice that the Machu Picchu entrance was cancelled and Travel Centre received a refund. I called Rolan and he said he didn’t know what happened but I needed to pay him directly. We were desperate then so I did. So we were back on. Travel Centre refunded us the money. The day of the tour we found out one of the tickets had been booked for a baby. The person is 77. We called Rolan and he never responded. We were helped in Aguas Calientes and then eventually everything went more than well. The guides themselves were wonderful, they helped a lot once on the tour. But I think we went through a lot of unnecessary stress with this agency:  wetravel. Who also operates as Willkatravel. Definitely do no work with Rolan. 

Decepcionante. Primero, no pudimos desayunar por estar puntuales esperando al minubus y nos recogieron 40 minutos tarde. Nos dijeron que fuésemos puntuales por ser los primeros y nos recogieron los últimos. Dijeron hasta 8 y éramos 9 pues una faltó en el último momento. 
Segundo. El guía nos dio solo 20 minutos para recorrer todo Pisac y a Ollantaytambo llegamos cuando estaban cerrando. Sin embargo hubo tiempo para parar en 3 tiendas, perdiendo muchísimo tiempo en ellas. Pagamos 80$ por persona por esta excursión, no esperábamos que nos llevasen a tiendas. 
El guía daba explicaciones escasas, nos dejaba a la entrada de los monumentos cuando vimos que otros guías acompañaban durante la visita a los clientes.  
Nada recomendable esta empresa

Amazing trip and guide. I had an amazing time, got to see the best spots to take picture and to admire one of the seven wonders of the world. I would recommend it to anyone 👍.

The ATVs were great! There was almost no one at Maras Salt Mines, and it was beautiful. Our tour guide however, didn’t seem very excited to be there. Other than that, everything was great.
