The expedition starts in Islamabad and travels north to seldom-visited Hunza & Skardu Valleys. The mountains are dominated by snow-capped peaks and turquoise blue lakes, and glaciers creep into the valleys. Explore the forts and settlements scattered among rural villages and learn about how the locals maintain their lifestyle in this harsh habitat

This is a comprehensive expedition where you will visit and witness the beauty of both Hunza and Skardu, the most beautiful tourist attraction of Gilgit Baltistan region. Deosai- The Land of the Giants is about 30 km away from Skardu. Its the world second highest plateau in the world. Jeep safari to Deosai is part of this tour

A tour will be organised in a group. Minimum number of people is 8 and maximum in a group is 14. If you wish to book a customised tour based on the number of people in your group, do let us know and we will provide a bespoke solution.

Breakfast. Leave hotel for Deosai. Deosai is accessible from Skardu District in the north, Galtari Kharmang District in the south-east and the Astore District in the west. Its the second highest plateau in the world, after Tibet. At about 4000m asl, you really feel being on top of the world. Return to hotel for dinner and rest

Exploring the native lifestyle
Breakfast. Leave the hotel for Nansoq Organic village. This village is totally off-grid and only accessible via 30 minutes trek. Trekking is too steep or cumbersome but include narrow mountain paths. The experience is well worth it though.

Helicopter Safari - Skardu to Gilgit
Breakfast. Airport transfer to Skardu airport. You will then enjoy an epic Helicopter Safari ride over the mighty mountains. An exhilarating experience that you will cherish for life. Flying over Lower Hunza valley and Attabad lake, it will land at Gulmit Heli-pad. You can enjoy the bird-eye views of Attabad lake and the Gojal/Upper Hunza valley. Breakfast. City tour of the tourist hub of Karimabad. Guided tour of 700 yrs old Baltit fort. Baltit fort was constructed by workers brought in from Baltistan and in inspired by ancient Tibetan architecture. Lunch at a women-led local eatery to taste some of local dishes. Free time to roam around the famous Karimabad bazaar and shop around for some souvenirs. Return to resort. Dinner

Khujerav Pass - The highest paved international border in the world
Breakfast. Drive towards Khunjerav pass. Khunjerav pass is through Khunjerav Nature reserve and culminated at Khunjerav border with China, the highest paved border in the world. If you are lucky you may catch glimpses of the elusive snow leopard or the majestic Ibex. There are numerous Himalayan Yaks found roaming freely in the wilderness of Khunjerav nature reserve. The beauty and grace of these gentle giants is remarkable. Khunjerav border you can see the Khunjerav glacier and walk about in the highest pasture meadows around you. The border is at about 4000m above sea level so please keep your inhaler ready if you use one, you may feel a bit light headed at this altitude. Return resort. Dinner.
