Option 1:

Overview guided tour of Jethro's Tombs, Zipporah's Well, the Split Rock of Moses, the Golden Calf Altar, the Moses Altar and Mount Sinai.  If starting the tour from Haq'l, you can also see the Red Sea Crossing Point.

Option 2:

Drive straight to the heart of the Exodus story and climb the Real Mount Sinai.

This trip can begin or end in either Haq'l or Tabuk in Saudi Arabia.  

 
Assistance crossing the Dura border from Jordan can be provided. 

Haq'l  -  The recommended starting point for Exodus Path's adventures is Haq'l in Saudi Arabia.  

Haq'l lies on the border with Jordan near Aqaba, which makes it a great starting point for a Saudi adventure to supplement touring in Jordan or Israel.  Flying into Amman, Jordan or into Israel may be preferable for many tourists.  Additionally, because Haq'l is closer to the Exodus sites, it gives you more time to experience each location.  For the 1 and 2 day trips, it will allow you to see the Red Sea Crossing Point, and it opens up options for additional swimming or snorkeling in the Sea of Aqaba if you stay there additional days.

It is a 30 minutes drive from Aqaba to Haq'l with a crossing at the Durra Crossing Point.  Set aside at least an hour for the crossing if you have purchased a Saudi E-Visa.,  Depending on your nationality, you can purchase a tourist Visa on Arrival, but I would set aside 2-3 hours.

Exodus Paths can recommend taxi drivers that specialize in transferring people across the Durra Crossing Point between Haq'l and Aqaba.

Tabuk  -  Tabuk is the other optional starting point for Exodus Paths tours.

Tabuk is the capitol of Tabuk Provence, which is the Provence that is in the NW corner of Saudi Arabia.  This is the Provence where all the Saudi Exodus sites have been and it is the area where out of which NEOM will be built.

If you are already exploring Saudi Arabia or intend to visit other Saudi sites after visiting the Exodus sites, then starting from Tabuk may be preferable to you.  There are many other amazing sites to visit in Saudi Arabia, especially in Al Ula to the south.

If you start from Tabuk on our 1 or 2 Day trips, you will not be able to experience the Red Sea Crossing Point.

Option 1:  Overview Tour

On the 1 Day overview tour, you will see Jethro's Tombs, Zipporah's Well, the Split Rock, the Moses Altar, the Golden Calf Altar and Mount Sinai.  Tour begins and ends at either Haq'l or Tabuk. 

Option 2: Climb Mount Sinai

Note that It is a very strenuous hike with significant elevation change.  If you choose to hike all the way to the furthest peak of Jabal Maqla, the hike could take 8-10 hours.  You can choose to hike either to the peak or to Elijah's Cave.  Climbing to the peak can take up to 6-8 hours round trip.  Saudi guides will accompany you on your hike.  Tour begins and ends at either Haq'l or Tabuk.
