Our retreat takes place at Soul Barns in Mortimer, a stunning, light-filled space set in acres of beautiful countryside and farmland.

With its modern design, spacious practice rooms, tranquil therapy spaces, and cosy firepits, Soul Barns offers the perfect balance of elegance and grounding calm—a true sanctuary for self-care and connection.

You’ll be nourished with healthy, satisfying meals made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Our day includes a wholesome snack with herbal teas or coffee, and a light, delicious lunch designed to fuel your body without weighing you down. Everything is crafted to be as good for your taste buds as it is for your wellbeing.

What we'll do...

The day blends movement, relaxation, and personal reflection to help you feel both energised and deeply at peace. You’ll experience guided relaxation, journalling, gentle but powerful somatic movement, breathwork, yin and restorative yoga, a healing sound bath, and closing meditation—all designed to release stress, renew your energy, and uplift your spirit.

Your Hosts

Joy Rose
Joy started her journey into health, fitness and wellbeing with an intensive 2 year training in Orthopaedic Nursing, that led to a passion for prevention and management of a wide variety of conditions and impairments through movement and exercise. Joy started as an aerobic dance/fitness instructor, went on to become a personal trainer/ gym manager she developed an interest holistic health and spirituality.

Joy trained with the British wheel of yoga and Traditional Hatha Yoga with Swami Ambikinanda and is OneSpirit Ordained Interfaith Minister/ Counsellor/Celebrant

Her career as a health professional has spanned over 40 years, she still maintains her great enthusiasm and a good measure of humour alongside her depth of knowledge and experience.

Stacey Howe

With over 15 transformative retreats led across Greece, South Africa, and the UK, Stacey is deeply passionate about creating space for women to reconnect with themselves through the power of travel, mindful movement, and soul-nourishing experiences. Her retreats blend adventure with stillness, designed to inspire deep connection, self-discovery, and lasting transformation.


Trained in Ashtanga Vinyasa, Mandala Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, Aerial Yoga, Pregnancy Yoga, Meditation, and Sound Bath Facilitation, Stacey weaves each of these practices into her retreats with a focus on intuitive movement, embodied awareness, and energetic balance.


Having owned and run several successful yoga studios, she has witnessed the profound transformation that happens when women gather with intention. Whether practicing under the sun-drenched skies of Greece, meditating to the sounds of the South African bush, or journaling beside the waves in Nicaragua, Stacey’s retreats offer more than just yoga—they offer a space to remember who you truly are.
