About this trip

 

One week Buddhism Yoga Meditation Retreat is a short term retreat. This retreat is a mix of study and exploring. It includes 5 days of regular class and 2 days of exploring places such as monasteries, temples and World Heritage sites. During 1 week you will learn the most fundamental parts of Buddhism, Yoga and Meditation. The retreat will cover daily Meditation sessions, Buddhism teachings and Yoga sessions including Singing Bowl Healing and Pranayama (Breathing Exercise). During the weekend we would like to take you to some sightseeing places around Kathmandu such as Bouddhanath Stupa & Pashupatinath Temple. There we wish to show you how religion and spirituality can be seen in everyday life in Nepal. So you can experience our culture first-hand. 

Food

 Breakfast :  Bread, Egg, Honey, peanut, Muesli, Yogurt, peanut, chia seed, raisin, coconut, dates, apple, banana, pomogranate, masala tea/milk tea 


Lunch :   Rice, lentils, 3 different vegetables, papad, salad 


Dinner :  Veg momo with tomato onion sauce, beans soup with bread, salad, noodles 

Room

 

Buddhist Yoga and Meditation Retreat provides accommodation with comfortable rooms for spiritual studies. The double room will be shared by two people. If you need a private room, note that the cost will be USD 70 more than your package price. We have 24-hours hot water, Wi-Fi service.

World Heritage site tour on weekend

 Bouddhanath is the biggest stupa around Nepal. It is over 1500 years old Buddhism temple. It is surrounded by over 20 monastery. On 1950 first Tibetan refugees camp were built in Kathmandu. Boudhnath stupa is also surrounded by many souvenir shops. 


 Pashupatinath temple is Hindu temple where Hindu cremations are hold. Here you can find everyday over 10 death bodies are burnt. Every night at 6 pm they also perform fire rituals.
