      It’s Not Us – It’s You!

Our guests are our true secret ingredient, what makes Battle Conquer so special is you. We have guests joining from around the globe all with the same goal in mind and it makes for an incredibly supportive and fun atmosphere. Just read the reviews and you’ll see that guests make lasting friendships not just with others but with our family too.

      About Us

Our Thai family have lived in Phetchabun for decades running the farmlands and teaching Muay Thai to the locals. You’ll get to experience their humble Buddhist way of life, soaking up their traditions and of course enjoying the food. Hidden gems, such as secret waterfalls and temple caves surround the area they live in, we’ll be sure to show you our favourite spots.

Weight Loss & Detox – in a fun and natural way

The pressures of weight loss in today’s society are crazy! Having to work through emotional eating behaviour can be extremely challenging, we know as we’ve done this ourselves so our programme teaches healthy habits rather than has you counting calories or going hungry.

      • The food is not      only delicious but high in protein and fibre, you can eat as much fruit,      veggies and salads as you like, if you want to know the science just ask      Sarah!
      • We keep you      busy, even our temple tours are active so there’s less time sitting on the      sofa and more time moving.
      • You do not need      any experience, all you need to do is get there and have fun.
      • Being surrounded      by others with the same goal is inspiring.
      • Yoga and      meditation, being surrounded by nature help to reduce stress and improve      sleep, both important factors when it comes to weight loss.
      • Finally! Water,      water and more water! Dehydration hinders weight loss.

Wellness Muay Thai & Western Boxing Package

Battle Conquer is set in such a wonderful rural location in the province of Phetchabun, abundant with lush green farmland, views of the distant Phetchabun Mountains, and local places of interest such as the cave temple and jungle waterfall to explore; it’s tailored for you to truly unwind from modern-day life while you focus on your health and fitness.

Never tried a martial art? No problem!

The Keawma family has been involved in fighting, training, and promoting Muay Thai for decades, they accept all levels of fitness and experience making it perfect for all, age and ability are no barrier! The name of the gym itself comes from the Thai saying Phichit Suk, said to fighters for good luck and translating to “battle conquer.”

Noi (owner) and her family run and manage the camp, Noi has a background in hospitality having worked for some of Bangkok's top hotels and father Pau has trained fighters for many years and is well known for prepping fighters for competition.

      Traditional Muay Thai training

We offer group-training sessions twice a day Monday to Saturday, plus an afternoon group class on Sundays. The group training includes shadow boxing, bag work and one on one pad work, mixed with HIIT, expect 3-minute rounds with an active recovery exercise, this style of training improves cardiovascular performance quickly. Once a week there are specific technique classes covering grappling and sparing. Interested in competing – Please let us know! We will make sure you are fully prepared and find you a suitable opponent. The local carnival fights are a great way to show off your talents, our Thai family take it very seriously and it’s a wonderful experience for guests too, expect to have the whole camp turn up to cheer you on!

While the focus is on traditional Muay Thai, Muay Thai Battle Conquer Gym cross-trains fighters in Western Boxing. The fighting styles complement one another and give an extra edge.

      Food

If you’ve ever wondered what real, home-cooked Thai food tastes like you will find out at Noi’s Cafe.

Noi’s Cafe serves up wholesome Thai food offering two to three different dishes accompanied by rice and salads or vegetables. Thai food is one of the tastiest and healthiest foods around the world and here in the farmland, it’s even more nutritious. All the fresh food is carefully selected and bought from the local markets every morning.

Our Home-cooked Thai meals are full of a variety of different vegetables, fruit and herbs, and spices, providing a range of nutrients and health benefits. Noi’s Cafe does not use any dairy and only has the freshest cuts of white meat or fish (optional). This makes the food incredibly healthy and detoxifying, a clean eating diet like this one is perfect for weight loss.

Breakfast at Noi’s is the most important meal of the day, it’s protein and fibre-rich to keep you full, that said if you are at the camp and feeling peckish at lunchtime you can help yourself to fresh sandwiches, healthy salads, and fresh fruit. We also serve up the best tasting protein smoothies.

Our family cooks all the food and the standard diet in this part of Thailand is white meat, fish, eggs, tofu, nuts, rice, fresh vegetables, and fruits. It’s all locally sourced and brought fresh from the markets, the fruit and vegetables served will depend on what is in season.

Amazing place, amazing food, amazing training & amazing people. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a high quality yoga, Muay Thai & fitness retreat in an un-explored part of Thailand. I'm definitely going to be coming back again.

Just returned from a second visit to Battle conquer. The place is run well with the focus on the guests. The food is amazing, some of the best Thai food I have eaten. The muay thai training is always intense, enjoyable and a laugh. The trainers can teach someone who has never thrown a punch in their life, up to experienced fighters. The training is always different and engaging with their focus on technique. I have enjoyed both of my visits and will look to book another one soon.

Where should I start. This was one of my best experiences I’ve ever made. This camp, the team, the training, the food everything is incredible. I loved every second. The location gives you the perfect opportunity to get into Muay Thai and yoga. Also perfect to see the real Thailand and not the touristic Thailand. The trips they’re organize are super nice. The trainers are great. They do a hard training, they push you through it but with so much passion and love. Also they are super funny and it’s just great. When someone was completely new into boxing etc. they took their time to show them the correct techniques. So much love in every detail. The Muay Thai Gym, the Café and the yoga shala. I met so many great people. Overall I just highly recommend this place.

Muay Thai Battle Conquer (MTBC) is an extraordinary retreat center for the following four reasons… Fitness MTBC provides expert training in “the art of eight limbs” (Muay Thai) and “the sweet science” of (American styled) Boxing that is structured to accommodate most everyone; from first-timers to those with professional aspirations. At MTBC every practitioner is engaged and instructed in the martial aspects of their chosen discipline; coupled with a multitude of aerobic exercises, ALL are challenged to persevere through repetition (“…back to running…”)! With twelve exceptional trainers to chose from every guest who steps into the MTBC gym (and into its ring) is a winner…(I’d be remiss if I didn’t publicly thank and acknowledge instructors Yo, Jack, Jed, Luk, and the rest of the MTBC team - Thank You ALL)!!! Wellness MTBC is unique in that it seeks out extraordinary yoga teachers from ALL over the world to bring their passion, love, and expertise to teach physical fitness and both relaxation and meditation techniques to its guests. The types of yoga instructed and practiced at MTBC range from the very gentle and restorative to the utterly contorting and acrobatic (shouting out Amy, Grace, Leah, Raquel, and Varun)! Under the banner of “Wellness” I must also include the very beautiful and talented women who consistently prepared our delicious Thai meals twice a day; “Khob Khun Krap!” The Thai cooking classes, “Cooking with Mao” were phenomenal (may your cooking classes ultimately become a global YouTube sensation)! Nothing replenished me as much in my physical and mental recovery as the Thai Full Body Massage” and Thai Oil Massage respectively; to say they were exceedingly restorative is a gross understatement! I’m convinced we ALL should have such talents in our hands and feet to rejuvenate another (Thank you Lew and Ood; my apologies to the third woman who will go unnamed here but not un-acknowledged)! At MTBC there is a nail salon where the guests can be pampered with manicures, pedicures, and foot scrubs (ALL three I received; thank you Kan) and if so inclined, in which I was, received a masterfully “tapped” tattoo by artisan extraordinaire, no exaggeration here, Muay Thai Instructor Master “Yo!” Beautifully rendered I’m now endowed with a symbol that represents my “path to freedom!” In no small measure it is the MTBC experience that had me receive my first ever tattoo (and I THANK YOU ALL)! I’m both thankful and grateful to the housekeeping staff for every concern I had brought to them over my three month long stay (at MTBC) was consistently met and resolved in a very timely manner! 🙏🏾 Biggest of thank you’s to Noi, Owen, Chris, and Kieran; without you ALL’s stewardship, MTBC wouldn’t be as “exceptional!” A very big hug and thank you to Sarah for the booking consideration I received for you made my extended stay possible! Excursions There are daily excursions to be enjoyed outside of the MTBC campus. One can chose a hike to the waterfall or through a mango grove, swim at either a lake or at a local pool, feed monkeys and fish (actually both enjoyable and cathartic) or visit one of several Temples made available to its guest. MTBC management can (will) also facilitate guest excursions to such places as Phetchabun and Bangkok (I had partaken in both)! Camaraderie One of the biggest takeaways of having the MTBC experience is meeting and training and bonding with the many people you will meet who have come from ALL over the world to be in this space of like-“mindfulness!” In my experiences here at MTBC we ALL pulled for one another’s betterment over merely competing against one another as combatants. Here, at Muay Thai Battle Conquer, you may very well find as I have, your “Sangha…!!!”
