About this trip
The Selous Game Reserve is a protected area in southern Tanzania. It covers a total area of 50,000sq km and has additional buffer zones. It was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1982 due to its wildlife diversity and undisturbed nature. Located in south-east Tanzania, in a remote and little-visited part of the country, the Selous Game Reserve is Africa’s largest protected wildlife reserve. It covers more than 5% of Tanzania’s total area.

At 7:30 am, domestic flight departure for Selous /Nyerere National Park.
At 9:00 am, start your safari game drive in the largest national park in Africa.
At 10:30 am, have a mid-morning coffee/tea break.
At 12:30 pm, enjoy an authentic safari bush lunch, served at set tables.
At 3:30 pm, end of the safari game drive.
At 4:15 pm, have a flight back to Zanzibar Airport (5:05 pm arrival)
