Morning Flight from Arusha to Seronera Airstrip

Begin your adventure with a scenic morning flight from Arusha to Seronera Airstrip in the heart of Serengeti National Park. Enjoy breathtaking aerial views of Tanzania's landscapes before landing in the wilderness, where your safari guide will be waiting to welcome you.

Central Serengeti National Park

Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive through the Central Serengeti, renowned for its abundant wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants and large herds of plains game. Explore the famous Seronera Valley, one of the best areas for year-round wildlife viewing.

Afternoon Game Drive

Continue exploring the Serengeti as you make your way towards your lodge. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and look out for wildlife along the way before settling in for the evening.

Exploring the Central Serengeti means experiencing acacia trees silhouetted against a backdrop of endless savannah. The wildlife viewing here is excellent and big cats are always a possibility.

Evening Game Drive, Serengeti National Park 

Going on an evening game drive is one of the highlights of any safari. This is when temperatures cool, the light becomes softer and the wildlife begins to get active. Not only will you be out when the light is best for taking photos, but it's also one of the best times of day for seeing the animals.

Transfer Game Drive to the Ngorongoro Highlands

After breakfast, depart Central Serengeti and journey towards the beautiful Ngorongoro Highlands. Enjoy a transfer game drive along the way, taking in the changing landscapes and looking out for wildlife as you travel through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Maasai Cultural Visit

Along the way, enjoy a visit to a traditional Maasai community. Learn about their customs, traditions and way of life, offering a glimpse into the rich cultural heritage of the Ngorongoro region.

After the visit, continue to your lodge. Spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings of the highlands.

Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive

Bush Lunch

Transfer to Manyara Secret

After lunch, continue your journey towards Manyara Secret. Arrive at the lodge, settle in and enjoy a relaxing evening surrounded by the peaceful atmosphere of the area.

Tarangire National Park Game Drive

After breakfast, head into Tarangire National Park for a morning game drive. Explore its beautiful landscapes, famous baobab trees and large elephant herds. Keep an eye out for lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes and other wildlife that call the park home.

Picnic Lunch and Transfer to Arusha Airport

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before departing for Arusha Airport. From here, board your approximately one-hour flight to Zanzibar.

Arrival in Zanzibar

Upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport, you will be met by our transfer team and driven to Meliá Zanzibar. Check in and spend the rest of the day relaxing at the resort, enjoying the beautiful surroundings and coastal atmosphere.

Stone Town Tour

After breakfast, head out for a guided tour of Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its rich history, fascinating architecture and vibrant local culture. Explore its narrow winding streets, historic buildings, bustling markets and famous landmarks while learning about Zanzibar's history as an important centre of Indian Ocean trade.

Optional Spice Farm Visit

After the Stone Town tour, guests who wish to continue can enjoy an optional visit to a local spice farm. Discover how Zanzibar's famous spices, including cloves, cinnamon, vanilla and nutmeg, are grown and harvested, with opportunities to smell and taste some of the fresh spices and tropical fruits.

Lunch and Return to the Hotel

The group can choose to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Stone Town, sampling traditional Zanzibari cuisine, or return to Meliá Zanzibar for lunch at the hotel. The rest of the afternoon is free to relax and enjoy the resort.

Optional Snorkeling and Diving at Mnemba Atoll

After breakfast, guests who wish to participate can depart the hotel at around 7:00 a.m. for a boat excursion to Mnemba Atoll. Both snorkeling and scuba diving are optional activities, allowing guests to choose either experience or simply enjoy a relaxing morning at the hotel.

Afternoon Sunset Dhow Cruise

At around 2:30 p.m., depart the hotel for a traditional dhow cruise. Sail along Zanzibar’s beautiful coastline, enjoying the ocean views and a relaxing experience as the sun sets over the Indian Ocean. After the cruise, return to the hotel in the evening.
