This trip was the trip of a lifetime. Both Mona and Maihi were incredible at hosting and organizing each day. The food was all fresh and breakfast was always so tasty in the morning! I can’t even put into words what this trip meant to me and how grateful I am to have met everyone. I feel extremely lucky to have seen the most beautiful raw and real places along the north island of New Zealand and I cannot thank Mona and Maihi enough for that. They put so much time into curating such a special and unique itinerary, I never once felt like I was in a touristy area or a part of a tour trip. The entire time felt like I was road tripping with family and for that I am so thankful. Each accommodation that we stayed at was clean and perfect for the occasion and every day brought on fun and exciting activities that were challenging and rewarding. This trip fully encompassed physical, emotional, and spiritual health and I hope to one day be back again!

RAW Roady was the trip of a lifetime. It felt like I went to visit friends who wanted to show me around all their favorite local spots. Every day was something new, challenging and equally rewarding. The beauty of NZ is unmatched and I still can't believe I really got to experience all that I did for those 10 days. Would do it all again in a heartbeat!

This trip was exceptional, and everything about it was absolutely awe inspiring: the people, the places and the itinerary! RAW experience stands for Resilience, Adventure and Wellness, and I was challenged in the best of ways across all of these areas. The trip itinerary promised an intimate, and physically demanding, tour of the North Island on foot, horse, bicycle, land and water. Our adventures included mountains, waterfalls, backpacking, horse riding, coastal hikes, ocean swims, sand boarding on dunes, cycling coast to coast, snorkelling, meeting the Māori family of our guides and experiencing all of this through the cultural lens of New Zealand. Our guides, MonaJane and her brother, Maihi, were inspiring, family-oriented and down to earth. They were able to convene a group of people of all ages and backgrounds, from all over the world, into a family by the end of this trip. It was truly a breathtaking and spectacular trip of a lifetime which I will never forget!
