Day 2: After a leisurely breakfast drive to Akagera National park, stop en-route to visit the Imigongo art center in kayonza - a unique traditional art by Rwandans – whereby cow dung is used to paint homestead.Thereafter proceed to Akagera park for afternoon game drive, exploring the southern part of the park.

Day 3: Full game drive at Akagera , The park now covers an area of 100,000 ha, following a recent reduction of its original size of 250,000 ha. The topography of the park is characterized by rolling sandstone hills in the west, cut in places by deep, narrow valleys. In the east, flood-plains and swamps are predominant. The vegetation of the park is extremely varied and, indeed, has been described as the most heterogeneous savanna ecosystem in the region. The park has a variety of wildlife and is a habitat for over 500 different species of birds. Akagera National Park is known for attractions such as game drives to view wildlife and landscape, and bird safaris. During the game drive along a well-designed network of tracks, there are plenty of animals one can see including elephants, buffalo, zebra, bush-baby, hippos, crocodiles and many other mammal species. On rare occasions, one can see species such as leopard, lion and black rhino. As one of the most scenic savanna in East Africa, the game takes 5 to 6 hours, from south to the north of the park. You will have a packed picnic lunch, Later in the evening drive back to Kigali.

Day 4: After breakfast undertake city tour of Kigali, including a visit to the Kigali genocide memorial site, Muslim quarter, the highest peak in Kigali thereafter have lunch then drive to Musanze. The 3 hours scenic drive through terraced hills to Volcanoes national park offer a panoramic view of hilly countryside, home to the endangered mountain gorillas. Stops en route to photograph scenic areas.
Overnight: Red Rocks Camp
Day 5:After breakfast involves the cultural activities we offer, ranging from Pottery Making, Basketweaving, cow milking, beekeeping, organic farming and later in the evening joining traditional cultural dancing troop, drumming and interacting with the local community.

Day 6:: In the morning, you will go for pre tracking briefing at the park headquarters. Gorilla tracking may take 1-8 hours depending on the group you are allocated and the movement of the gentle giants the previous night. Stay in the presence of the gorillas for a maximum of an hour before exiting the forest. Afternoon visit Red Rocks premises then involved in a demonstration of how the local banana beer is made.

Day 7: Today you will involve in Sustainable Development talks(SDTs) with workers from Red Rocks, later in the afternoon take a walk to visit the various community members who work at Red Rocks, to visit their homestead and hear success stories of how tourism has promoted their development.

Day 8: Another day of involvement in the sustainable development talk now including our stakeholders from the neighboring countries of Uganda and DRC, afternoon you will be hosted a party to celebrate the success of sustainable tourism in the virunga massif.
Day 9: After breakfast drive to the border town of Rubavu, neighboring the Congo, relax by the shores of Lake Kivu if you wish you may take a boat to explore nearby Islands, visit Rubona hot springs, city tour of Rubavu town if time permits visit also the pfunda tea factory to see how the crop is processed to make tea leaves (Crop to cup process) at the factory
Overnight: Inzu Lodge
Day 10:After breakfast drive back to Kigali, proceed to the airport to catch flight back home
