This is not a beginner training.
The BALANCE Intensive is designed for practitioners who already have a solid foundation and are ready to refine the quality of their practice from the inside out. While the curriculum naturally develops teaching ability, the primary focus is personal transformation. Better teachers are first dedicated students.
Throughout ten immersive days, you'll strengthen your understanding of movement, anatomy, breath, meditation, and self-inquiry while surrounded by a community of equally passionate practitioners.

Ness offers an empowering and accessible approach to yoga that blends playfulness with precision. Her teaching encourages students to explore their limits with curiosity, while fostering an atmosphere of connection and growth. Nestled along Koh Samui's peaceful southern coastline, Samahita Retreat offers an environment intentionally designed for deep practice, recovery, and focused learning.
Unlike a traditional resort, Samahita has spent more than two decades cultivating a space where yoga, breathwork, movement, and holistic wellbeing naturally coexist. Practice takes place in beautiful open-air yoga shalas just steps from the sea, while spacious gardens, quiet beachfront paths, and dedicated meditation areas invite moments of reflection between sessions.
Beyond the classroom, you'll enjoy access to two saltwater swimming pools, a beachfront lounge, a sea-view fitness centre, herbal steam room, wellness facilities, and peaceful spaces designed to help you recover as deeply as you train.
For ten days, your only responsibility is to practice, learn, rest, and grow.
Your training includes nine nights of accommodation at Samahita Retreat, where comfort, simplicity, and wellbeing come together to support an immersive learning experience.
Accommodation options range from shared lofts to spacious private suites, each offering comfortable ensuite rooms designed for rest and recovery between full training days.
Nutrition is an integral part of the experience.
Brunch and dinner are thoughtfully prepared each day using fresh, whole-food ingredients, with an emphasis on nourishing meals that sustain high levels of physical and mental performance. Samahita has become well known for its exceptional cuisine, preparing meals in-house with locally sourced ingredients whenever possible while accommodating a wide range of dietary requirements.
Whether you're enjoying a meal overlooking the ocean, sharing conversations after practice, or simply unwinding beside the pool, every aspect of the environment is designed to support your learning journey.
