Great hike on an active volcano! Inspiring Ecuador was great to work with throughout the process! I would definitely use them again for future tours!

Great hike, long and a steep climb to reach the summit. Joaquin was a terrific guide. Highly recommend.

Had a disappointing experience with this company, who organised my excursions in the Galapagos. Originally the communication was excellent, they requested I paid for all my tours upfront and informed me I would receive my vouchers for the 3 trips organised (this was a bespoke tour) 30 days before. About 2 weeks before I received another message saying the vouchers would be sent next week. This never happened. I should have chased it up but I was busy myself. So all I knew when I arrived at Baltra airport was that I was to be met by their representative at arrivals. No one was there. I tried ringing them (it says they have 24hr service on their website) but no one answered. After waiting 40 minutes I decided to get the bus as I had a ferry to catch. At this point they rang me (I'd left several messages) and explained that the representative would be waiting after the barge you have to take to get off Baltra island. I arrived in Puerto Ayora where the rep got me my ferry ticket but knew nothing about my activity for the next day. Again I tried unsuccessfully phoning them. So I arrived at my hotel with no idea as to where or when my trip to Los Tuneles was taking place. A robust text msg got a suitable response and finally I received my full itinerary and I was able to get to Los Tuneles. As an apology they offered me a free meal at the Royal Rock which I appreciated. However there was also an issue with my second trip, las Tintoreras. Originally it was booked for 8-11am which gave me enough time to get to the airport for a 2pm flight. However when I got my final itinerary it had been changed to 10-12.30. This was extremely tight (get from harbour to office, get changed, and then find a taxi to get to the airport) and added unnecessary stress to the morning. I ended up cutting the trip short to make sure I got my flight There are trips that leave at 8 but despite taking my money for the trip some 5 months earlier they clearly left it late to book and could only get the later trip. My final trip from San Cristobal went fine but overall I found this company far from inspiring

I had a fantastic time touring Quilotoa with Andreas as my guide. He was personable, knowledgeable and Quilotoa itself is a must see.

Jorge suggested that he pick me up (in Old Town) at 7:30 AM so we could miss the traffic. Leaving early, we were the first to the trailhead and didn't see anyone on the hike until we got to the lake trail. I had wanted to go up to the Refugio, but with the recent eruptions, that was closed. This turned out to be great as we hiked an alternative trail, opposite, where we could witness the eruptions, safely. The hike and views were beautiful; we went up to 15,000 ft. Jorge is a wonderful guide. He explained various plants and their medicinal and historical uses, was patient with my slow pace and let me lead the way. He is warm and engaging and we talked about many things as we climbed up the trail. The provided lunch was good; nice to have a full meal after our walk. I highly recommend Jorge and the option of the private tour.
