About this trip

The circuit trek opened in 1991 is the classic trek into wilderness of Manaslu region. A perfect getaway as they say, Manaslu circuit trek is lot more different than the regular Everest and Annapurna trek. Away from the hustles of the city and busy trekking trail, this trek leads you to the isolated region of Manaslu that has few visitors but epic sights of the Himalayan ranges.

The 14 days guided trek to Manaslu (8156m) officially starts with a scenic ride along the rushing  Trishuli  river with the sights of highland hills, highway shops, terraced fields, small villages and then finally to the starting point of the trek, Sotikhola. The trekking trail onward from here winds up to the quaint villages of Maccha Khola, Jagaat, Deng, Namrung, Samagaun, Samdo, Dharmashala along the bank of tranquil flowing Budi Gandaki River. The trail passes through the prolific woodlands of pine and blossoming rhododendron forest throughout the journey with captivating mountain views in the background.  Enjoy acclimatization day in Samagaun and visit the local attractions including, Birendra tal and Pungyen Gompa. Get a peek into the culture and tradition of ethnic communities; enjoy their warm hospitality throughout the trek as you stay in local tea houses for overnight. The journey comes to an end as you summit Larkya la (5125) and behold the majestic view of Annapurna II (7937m), Cheo Himal (6812m), Himlung Himal (7126m) and Kang Koru (6981m). The trek back from the pass is made memorable by the best views of Manaslu. The journey started from Soti Khola ends in Besisahar after completely enclosing Mount Manaslu. The best season for this trek is March, April, May, September, October and November.
