16 Day Everest Base Camp/ Gokyo Lakes Trek
Kathmandu, Nepal

About this trip

There are many different names for the highest mountain in the world, yet words always seem to fall short in describing this otherworldly place. A flight in a small propeller plane, a visit to Everest Base Camp, and summiting a nearly 18,000ft mountain are just some of the highlights of this trip. Yet words also fall short in summing up our Everest trip, so you’ll just have to come see for yourself.

Trip highlights:

  • 4 days exploring the ancient city of Kathmandu and its holiest temples, staying in our boutique hotel and eating world-class Nepali, Tibetan and Indian cuisine.
  • 12 days hiking through remote mountain passes, rivers, forests and beautiful jaw-dropping scenery of the base of the highest mountain in the world: Mt. Everest.
  • 6 Days exploring the Gokyo Lakes Basin, an off-the-beaten path adventure often missed by other guides.
  • Summit Gokyo Ri, a 17,982ft peak overlooking the turquoise blue Gokyo Lakes.
  • Special signature surprises throughout the trip, offered by our western and local guides.
