Xi 'an, formerly known as chang 'an, has been the capital of 13 dynasties for more than 3,100 years. It was once a world metropolis facing east and west with Rome and the starting and ending point of the Silk Road. 

Students will have a more In-depth understanding of the 5000 year old Chinese civilization by visiting, experiencing and exploring in the ancient capital.

Visit: Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum Site Museum, Shaanxi History Museum, Xi'an Banpo Museum, Hanyangling Underground Museum, Forest of Stone Steles Museum, Small Wild Goose Pagoda.

Dunhuang, located at the edge of the Taklamakan desert, has been an important city in the Silk Road from the central plains to the western regions since the Han Dynasty. Dunhuang connected east and west civilization that helped developing its own unique culture and art. The painted murals from Dunhuang Grottoes and the large number of literature from scripture library include religion, literature, history, music, art and other rich cultural heritage. We will embark on this incredible adventure in this desert oasis.

Chengdu, the birthplace of ancient Shu civilization, has been built for more than 3,200 years. It has never changed its name or moved its site. We will have a sweet date with giant pandas in the land of abundance and explore the secrets of natural optimism of Shu people.
