This 3-day budget gorilla trek safari takes you to the misty Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, which is home to more than half the population of the remaining 880 Mountain Gorillas. The forest offers a unique birding opportunity, cultural experiences, a scenic allure of stunning hills and lush vegetation inhabited by the elusive primates. The gorilla trek activity is the most enchanting experience in this forest.
You must bring appropriate walking or hiking shoes as trainers are not suitable for the forest terrain. Waterproof clothing, preferably dark in colour as bright colours will attract insects, is necessary since the forest is at high altitude so there is a good chance of rain. Remember to bring high-factor sunscreen and a hat too, most of all don't forget your yellow fever vaccination card.
