Cerro Madsen is a beautiful Ascent close to Mount Fitz Roy, providing best views of the range without crossing technical terrain. Its demanding in one day, around 11 hour hike.

Weather in Patagonia is very unstable. In case of bad weather, were trek cannot be completed, alternative itinerary will be provided by mountain guide, if possible. All decition will be made by mountain guide´s criteria.

Between 4/6AM, depending on the time of the year you will be picked up to go to Electrico River. From there we will hike on Rio Blanco trails towards Laguna de los tres. Surrounding the lake we will approach Cerro Madsen, hiking on the snow and climbing 3er grade up to the summit. After enjoying Fitz Roy Close and unique views, we will start going down to Poincenot Camp. Total time: 10 hours aprox.
Total gain: 700mts. STARTING TIME WILL BE INFORMED BEFORE ARRIVAL.
