The Heartwood Reiki Master certification program is a broad look into Reiki and complimentary healing modalities to support health and wellness personally and for others. We cover levels 1-4 in two immersion days, unfolding the material for a deeper understanding of the potential of Reiki. 

We begin with Level 1 - Self Reiki with a look at Reiki's history and theory with an introduction to the energetic body, chakras, nadis and the role of intention and purpose in thoughts and karmic disposition. We next explore the 5 precepts of Reiki and traditional Reiki meditation, learning the Cho Ku Rei power symbol. Students will be attuned to level one Reiki on day one. After the attunement, we progress through a series of Reiki exercises to practice, beginning with the Reiki Bear Project (injecting teddy bears with Reiki healing and light - these bears are later donated to children's hospitals and disadvantaged youth programs as a Karmic project reminding us of our role as healers and symbolizing how we must all share our light where it is needed). We move up to energy exchanges with plants and discuss Reiki for animals, and then we progress to self-healing practices, touching lightly upon traditional Reiki share activity. This program covers Usui Reiki systems, reviewing both defined hand positions and the intuitive method. 

Level two, practitioner  continues that evening. After attunement, we cover additional Reiki symbols and how they are used and begin learning to do attunements and teach Reiki to others. Reiki tables are available, and we practice Reiki treatments and Reiki Shares and the techniques offered. This level includes learning about pendulum dowsing and crystals to enhance treatments. We cover Reiki over distance and time as well as Chakra clearing.

Level three and four, Reiki master. are offered on day 2. After attunement, we cover additional Reiki symbols and how they are used and begin learning how to perform attunements on others and teach the Reiki system. This level includes creating Crystal grids, sound healing and other compatible subtle body modalities to enhance Reiki Treatments. 

This course provides a comprehensive, formal education in Reiki, so participants can share the amazing power of healing energy with others. Several yoga classes are available to take while at Heartwood before our session begins, and participants are welcome to join the class, as well as enjoy the healing energy of Heartwood's crystal grid, labyrinth, Chakra Meditation Garden, and other soul inspirational areas.   

Select the resident package if you wish to stay at Heartwood during the program. We offer dorm style lodging with 4 people to a room with a shared bathroom. Complimentary bikes, hot tub and plenty of space to roam and enjoy the remarkable grounds included. We serve lunch each day, and residents are welcome to enjoy a self-serve breakfast as well.
