If you're pressed for time, two beautiful days in Lake Manyara National Park and the world-famous Ngorongoro Conservation Area should do the trick! Between Manyara's tree-climbing lions, an astonishing variety of birds, and wallowing hippos, and Ngorongoro's high population of predators as well as Cape buffalo and black rhinoceros
this itinerary offers you the chance to see the entire Big Five in just 48 hours.
We will depart for Tarangire National Park early in the morning. Once we arrive in Tarangire we will begin exploring the enormous termite mounds and the ancient baobab trees. This park is renowned for its diverse bird species and extensive population of elephants.
Particularly impressive are the pink-colored flamingos, but there are also many other bird species such as cormorants, pelicans, and storks. A total of about 400 different bird species live in the park. The park is also famous for its tree-climbing lions, which are usually found in the central and open part of the park. During the safari, you will also see elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, and many other animal species. In the late afternoon, you leave the national park and will spend the night at a campsite near the small village Mto wa Mbu.
