About this trip

Join Sam Williams, founder of Her Peaceful Place and certified Yoga For You trainer for a weekend immersion training in restorative yoga. In this 20 hour training you will learn everything you need to be able to teach the practice of yoga nidra

 

In this course you will take a deep dive into the practice of yoga nidra, the history and philosophy of the practice, explore the koshas and anatomy of yoga nidra, and learn how to teach this practice and share it with others. This course is eligible for Yoga Alliance continued ED hours, and is open to anyone who wants to learn. 


Course objectives

-Learn the essential principals, practices, and benefits of Yoga Nidra

-Experience Yoga Nidra first hand

-Learn how to craft and teach a yoga nidra practice

-Take a deep dive into the Koshas and learn how to reach the true self explore topics and themes for yoga nidra intentions

-Develop a strong voice for Yoga Nidra and learn how to set the scene, pick music, and deal with distractions

-BONUS- teaching materials, theme ideas, scripts

-Access to other YFY resources and tools

This training will be completed in two long days with approximate hours 9am-6pm (meal break will be included during the day.) This training must be taken in full to complete and is open to all teachers and students and is eligible for Yoga Alliance continued ED hours

Sam Williams is a Yoga and Meditation Teacher, Sound Healing Therapist, and certified Yoga For You Trainer and the founder of Her Peaceful Place, Sound and Wellness Rooms in South Wales, UK. 

Sam has a huge passion for a holistic and embodied approach to wellness, empowerment and self care. At the heart of all her work is total awe at the limitless power of the body, mind and soul. She believes that every single person deserves to feel calm and in control of their life, particularly when navigating change.

Such an amazing and informative experience learning about Yoga Nidra! I personally engage really well with Kelly's style of teaching which included a mix of both lecture and self-experience in addition to lively discussion! Kelly was very thoughtful to consider the location of the studio for the safety of the group and gifted small bags of goodies which were such a nice treat.
