About this trip
From every perspective, this mountain is photogenic. Thankfully, the north face of Ausangate delighted us with hot springs, so staying one night to enjoy them is the best choice. On the first day, you can relax in the thermal springs and, later on that day, learn traditional Peruvian cooking techniques from our Peruvian chef. Later in the afternoon, relax by the fireplace with your guide while he tells you about some folk tales. The next morning, the scenery changes as we move closer to Ausangate, and many more colorful lakes appear along the trail.

7 lakes of ausangate
Photography Tour
DAY 1 CUSCO - PACCHANTA - HOT SPRINGS
- Pick up from your hotel at 8 a.m.
- Drive east of Cusco to Pacchanta, our campsite.
- On the road, we will stop a few times to stretch our legs and take some photos.
- Pacchanta awaits with cooking activities and a homemade lunch.
- A chill afternoon with a fireplace to roast some marshmallows.
- Photo shoot while enjoying the fireplace
DAY 2 PACCHANTA - SEVEN LAKES - CUSCO
- Early wake up to start the hike
- Once at the first look out by the three lakes of Ninaparayoc we have a warm Breakfast with a beautiful view of the mountain.
- Photo shoot all along the way back to camp with 4 other lakes
- Lunch at the Pacchanta
- Back to cusco and drop off at the hotel
