CUSCO - UPIS LAKE - UPIS CAMPSITE
5 a.m. Hotel Pickup: Our Seven Lakes of Ausangate Photography Tour adventure Start early with a 5 a.m. pickup from your hotel in Cusco.

Drive to Upis Village: You will Enjoy a scenic 3-hour drive east of Cusco to Upis Village, the beginning of our hike. Along the way, soak in the landscapes of the Peruvian Andes, capturing morning light over the mountains.

Hiking to Upis Camp: Begin your hike to Camp Upis, passing through alpaca farms and breathtaking landscapes perfect for photography. Capture the first of many Andean landscapes and the locals’ traditional way of life as we head toward our base for the night.

Arrival and Lunch at Camp Upis: Upon arrival, a delicious homemade lunch awaits, featuring a taste of local Peruvian flavors. This meal provides an authentic connection to the region’s culture and traditions.

Afternoon Hike to Upis Lake: After lunch, take an optional hike to Upis Lake in the afternoon, where we’ll stay until sunset to capture the Andean lakes in golden hour light. In the rainy season, discover water rapids and natural pools near the campsite, adding diverse photographic opportunities.

Photography and Dinner by the Fireplace: Enjoy a cozy evening with a photoshoot session by the campsite. Capture the evening ambiance around the fireplace before settling down for a hearty dinner, enjoying traditional Andean hospitality and unwinding for the night.

DAY 2
UPIS - SEVEN LAKES - PACCHANTA - CUSCO
Early Morning Photography: Wake up early for blue hour shooting to capture the stunning landscapes and the golden hour light around the campsite.

Hearty Breakfast: Enjoy a delicious and hearty breakfast featuring local flavors to fuel your day before beginning the 3-hour hike to the Seven Lakes.

Blue Lake: Arrive at the first lake, called Blue Lake, which offers excellent photo opportunities of the Ausangate mountain.

Lunch at the Nina Parayoq Campsite: Lunch will be served at the Nina Parayoq campsite, also known as the Seven Lakes, where you can recharge and enjoy the stunning surroundings, including local Peruvian cuisine.

Nina Parayoq: After another hour of hiking, we will reach our favorite spot, for more photos in the evening light. This location is renowned for its breathtaking vistas, ideal for capturing unforgettable landscape photography.

Sunset Photography: Experience sunset shooting from our favorite lookout point, capturing the dramatic colors of the sky reflected in the lakes, a must-see for every photographer.

Hike Back to Pacchanta: Begin the 2-hour downhill hike back to Pacchanta town, where you can reflect on the day's adventures and photographic moments.

Return to Cusco: After arriving back in Pacchanta, we will return to Cusco and drop you off at your hotel, concluding your photography journey through the stunning Andes.
