The Selous Game Reserve stands as the largest reserve, teeming with an abundance of wildlife. Within its vast expanse, you'll encounter majestic creatures such as African bush elephants, black rhinos, hippopotamuses, lions, East African wild dogs, Cape buffaloes, Masai giraffes, Plains zebras, and crocodiles, all in greater numbers than any other African game reserve. Renowned for its pristine landscapes and breathtaking wildlife sightings, the reserve also serves as an exceptional bird sanctuary. While traditional game drives offer an unforgettable safari experience, walking safaris, boat safaris, and more provide additional avenues for adventure, catering to the diverse interests of safari enthusiasts.

Depart Zanzibar at 0745am or Dar es Salaam at 0820 am with a flight to an Airstrip in Selous Game Reserve arrival at 0915am, pick up at Siwandu Airstrip proceed with the game drive for half day. You will have the chance to see wildlife like, Elephants, Lions, Wild-dogs, Elands, Leopards, cheetahs, Giraffes, Hippos and crocodiles which live in this immense sanctuary which measures 50,000 sq. km, practically undisturbed by human impact. The park has a variety of vegetation zones, ranging from dense thickets to open wooded grassland. Later proceed for lunch at the lodge and relax till late in the afternoon. Then you will venture into boat safari for about 2 hours in Lake Manze, you will see animals trail to the lake to drink water. This is the opportunity be very close to the mother nature and see hippos bubbling in the water, crocodiles taking a sun birth and many more animals, enjoy African Savannah sunset, there after dinner and overnight.

Early breakfast then morning game drive in the park to see many wild animals like Zebras, Elephants, Antelopes and many more making morning grazing and hunting then proceed with game drive having a chance to see other wildlife like Lions, Elands, Leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, hippos and crocodiles. Later proceed to the Airstrip for your flight to Dar-es-salaam or Zanziba.
