The park is named after the Tarangire River, the only source of water for the wildlife in the region during the dry season. The park is home to very diverse vegetation, unlike any others in the northern safari destination.
Tarangire National Park contains a very large wildlife concentration, including the largest species of Africa's animals, and hundreds of bird species. The park was established in 1970 and is most famous for its large diversity of wildlife, vegetation, birds, tree-climbing lions and baobab trees, aslso enjoy your days to Lake Manyara and Tarangire.
Lake Manyara National Park is the lake of warthog and its have indulge ideal location for a night game drive because its have wonderfully ecosystems. It is said to have 11 different ecosystem; the area is a melting pot for all types of flora and fauna- within the lake, there is rift valley cliffs, ground water forest, Ngorongoro highlands and the dry Tarangire system all close by.
After having a tasty breakfast in the morning we will head to tarangire national park, although most people overlooks it because of its neighboring more popular parks, tarangire is a perfect spot for game viewing.
Tarangire National Park is always crowded with animals from the month of June to late October which is the dry season, most animals gather around the tarangire river in search of water which makes it a perfect spot for game viewing.
The park is usually quiet and animals like elephants, warthogs, hyenas, impalas and a wide variety of bird species are found in the park.
