Welcome to 2 Days Uganda Gorilla Trekking from Kigali. It indeed starts from Kigali-Rwanda and is designed for visitors who prefer to use the shorter route to Bwindi from Kigali Rwanda. You will save time other than road transfer of 9 hours from Entebbe international airport in Uganda to the same location. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park is a home to more than half of the mountain gorilla’s population in the world. This trip takes you on a journey from Kigali in Rwanda to Bwindi through the Katuna border then to the beautiful sceneries of Kigezi highlands in Uganda and finally to Ruhija sector of Bwindi Forest. You will have a chance to have the Batwa tribe encounter that will spice up the trip as you learn how they used to live with the gorillas in the forest. 

 You will be welcomed by a repetitive from Alps Trendy Safaris on your arrival at Kigali international airport or at your hotel with in Kigali city. You will be briefed by your driver guide then start your journey to Bwindi home of gorillas. On the road you will have an opportunity to tour the city of Kigali and important sites like the Kigali genocide memorial centre. You will then embark on 4 hours drive to Bwindi through the Katuna (Uganda – Rwanda border). After Katuna you will head to Ruhija sector of Bwindi Forest Park. This journey will give you an opportunity to see the beautiful countryside and landscapes in both countries. 

 On this day of your 2 Days Uganda Gorilla Trekking from Kigali, you will wake up very early and have a breakfast and then be picked by your guide and proceed to the park office. You will be briefed and given information regarding trekking gorillas in Bwindi and all the information you need for the day. You will be assigned a gorilla group and with your packed lunch get on the jungle for gorilla trekking. This will take between 2 to 6 hours or more depending on the location of your assigned gorilla family on that particular day. Once you spot the gorillas, take as many photos as you can and try to follow instructions from the head guide and spend one full hour with them. After completing the trek, come back to your hotel and check out. There after, our guide will take you back to Kigali international airport or your hotel as it marks the end of your 2 Days Uganda Gorilla Trekking from Kigali.
