About your trip

Step into a journey of transformation with our 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training. This comprehensive program is designed to deepen your personal practice and prepare you to teach yoga with confidence, authenticity, and purpose.

Rooted in ancient philosophy and infused with modern science, this training bridges the sacred and the practical. Whether you’re feeling called to share yoga or simply looking to expand your knowledge, you’ll leave this immersive experience with the tools, voice, and inspiration to lead safe, inclusive, and soulful classes.

What Makes This Training Unique

  • A dynamic blend of science, spirit, and soul, rooted in yogic tradition yet fully relevant to modern life.

  • Emphasis on accessibility, inclusivity, and personal expression. You don’t need to master any pose to be a great teacher.

  • Led by two experienced facilitators: Michelle Garcia, an Indigenous yoga teacher with over 7,000 hours of teaching and more than 1,500 hours of advanced training across multiple styles. Danielle Hoguet, a doctor of physical therapy and yoga educator with over 2,000 teaching hours and a deep understanding of anatomy and alignment.

  • Small group setting that encourages connection, community, and individualized support.

  • A nurturing space to explore your voice, build confidence, and develop your unique teaching style.

What You’ll Learn

Teaching Methodology & Sequencing

Learn to guide Hatha and Vinyasa classes with intelligent sequencing, inclusive cueing, and authentic theming. Discover how to hold sacred space, curate playlists, and find your voice as a teacher.

Techniques, Training & Practice

Explore 51 foundational asanas from a lens of safety and empowerment. You’ll also receive introductions to Yin, Restorative, Prenatal, and Yoga Nidra, and practice pranayama, mantra, and meditation techniques.

Anatomy & Alignment

Study functional anatomy and biomechanics with a trauma-informed lens. Learn to use props effectively, understand joint movement, and offer safe, supportive verbal and physical assists.

Yoga Philosophy & Spiritual Foundations

Dive into the Yoga Sutras, the Eight Limbs of Yoga, the Yamas and Niyamas, and foundational teachings of Ayurveda and the chakra system. These tools help you integrate yoga into everyday life.

The Business of Yoga & Ethics

Practice Teaching & Mentorship

Daily opportunities to teach in a supportive environment. Your final teaching experience is a celebration of growth, not a test of perfection.
