Arohan yoga provides holistic and authentic, traditional training for yoga teachers. With an in-depth knowledge of Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, and Ayurveda, the student will be prepared in a systematic progressive manner to become a certified, competent teacher.

200 hours TTC

Arohan Yoga School conducts an authentic and intensive 200-hour yoga teacher training program. This course aims to make the student ready to become an effective teacher having comprehensive and holistic knowledge about traditional, authentic yoga. The student will understand the importance of balancing the yin and the yang aspects of the ‘Ha’ and ‘Tha’ aspects. Practicals include Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, and Yin Yoga. The theory comprises yoga anatomy and physiology, philosophy, and Ayurveda. Yoga Alliance recognizes this course.

The yoga school is a family-operated institution. Our Yoga School in Rishikesh, India, focuses on the practical application of yogic values in day-to-day life. Apart from yoga postures, the emphasis is also given to cleansing and detoxification techniques, Pranayama, and Relaxation/meditation techniques.

Great online Hatha Teacher Training - it was very convenient to do the classes on your own pace. Nevertheless, there was always someone reachable via what‘s app, they always replied within a couple of hours. I did my 200h online Yoga teacher training at Arohan Yoga andc an highly recommend this course. The teachers were well structured, friendly, very supportive and experienced. I did the 200h YTT in January 2023. It was really a life changing experience that I will never forget. The owners and teachers were great, and receptive to any of our questions or requests. I Iearned so much during this month (about yoga practice, yoga philosophy, basics of ayurveda, but also about Indian cluture and about Life!). We were lucky to be a small group of 6 girls, which made the experience even more special. I think it is a really genuine YTT, with traditional and authentic Yoga. Neeraj and Sneha, the owners, were attentive, and did their best to provide us the best experience. Even if some small details could be improved (about the premises for instance) the owners were really taking care of our needs as much as they could and overall the global experience was really responding to my expectations. The school is also 30 min away from the town center, close to the Ganga, and is really appreciable to be out of Rishikesh agitation, in a peaceful and quiet environment that favors learning and focusing. I spoke with some people who did they YTT in Rishikesh center, and from what I heard in comparison, I think I was really lucky to do mine in Arohan, where they really care about giving us a quality course, for very reasonable price!!! Thank you again for everything Arohan Yoga team! 🙏🙏🙏

It was an amazing one month journey of the physical and mental body for me, meeting new people, feeling part of a group and evolving. Arohan Yoga did a wonderful job organizing this event, although, as most organizations, some parts can be improved. That said, so may students, so may opinions. Arohan gave student guidance, peace of mind and structure in a nice place away from the busy Rishikesh center in a more quiet part of town.
