About this trip

Participating in a yoga teacher training will transform your practice and empower you to teach.  It’s the beginning of a lifestyle and a career rooted in service to helping others. This 200 hour yoga teacher training is a unique blend of Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga.

Your instructors Autumns Adams, RYT 500, Founder of Ambuja Yoga and Toni Larson, RYT 500 founder Barefoot BLISS Yoga are both like-minded in life and in their teachings.

The training will take place at Yoga Indigo, a gorgeous downtown studio in beautiful Bend, Oregon. Nearby Drake Park provides outdoor walking trails, which allow us to take our classes outside when called. Autumn and Toni are passionate about training students in a fun, creative and playful way. They bring a very easy and welcoming energy into their teachings and teach in a way that helps all types of learners thrive.

Welcome to Ambuja Yoga! I’m Autumn Adams, E-RYT YACEP, and I am the founder of Ambuja Yoga. I am thrilled that you’ve found us (and that you’re snooping around to learn more). Each and every day I am thankful for this community of awesome, powerful and compassionate yogis. I am grateful that you’re here and that you’re interested in investing in your wellbeing by attending a yoga retreat. I created Ambuja Yoga in 2014 as an outlet to share my passion for wellbeing and balanced living while actively creating a life that I LOVE. As Ambuja Yoga came into fruition and evolved into what it is today, I can honestly say that I have found my path, my life’s work, my dharma. I want the same for you. I want you to love the life you live. My hope is to empower YOU to be courageous (to take those leaps), to handle life’s challenges with grace, and uncover your life’s sankalpa (an intention that guides you in all aspects of your life). You are worth it! You are worthy of investment!

Autumn and Toni really put their heart and soul into making this a nurturing and empowering experience. The organizers stay in touch throughout the process-- whether you have questions before booking; have dietary restrictions or special needs once you've booked; or enjoy reminders, driving directions, wellness tips, and a full information packet before the retreat. They really do make you feel valued and like family! Tipi Village is set in a delightfully rambling woodland, and the tipis are surprisingly cozy. There is a variety of yoga classes, whether you like vinyasa, roll and release, alignment workshops, sound healing, yoga nidra, restorative...there's truly something for everyone. There is also zero pressure to do anything that does not feel aligned for you. If you'd rather dip in the hot tub or the river swimming hole, journal in an Adirondack chair, stargaze, or sip tea or wine with new friends, that's all very much supported. My session also offered a spiritual component that was inclusive and welcoming for all-- featuring a community altar and a group ritual circle to close, as well as thoughtful touches like oracle cards and crystals lovingly picked out by our hosts. Oh and the gluten free blueberry pancakes are the best. (Seriously.) It's incredible that this retreat is offered at this affordable price point. One of the most distinctive aspects of the retreat is that it offers a safe space for women to come together and laugh, share, learn, and stretch in a warm, supportive environment. If that sort of community is calling you, this is a really great opportunity!

What an amazing retreat! I really needed self care after having my twin girls 3 1/2 months earlier. Autumn and Toni do a beautiful job holding space for what you need. Thank you ladies for this! The tipi village is a wonderful space and has delicious food

Autumn is a very experienced yoga instructor and approaches every class with insight and enthusiasm. Her retreat is well organized, thoughtful and tipi village is a magical place. The meals are delicious and dinners offered a compliment of local wines. Autumn and Toni (also an amazing instructor!) provide a safe environment for women to practice yoga/meditation and explore a deeper understanding of themselves. I highly recommend this yoga retreat.

This is my favorite yoga retreat I've ever attended. I have participated three times and will continue to do so as long as Autumn offers it! The sense of community, care and inspiration I receive every time I attend is memorable. The yoga and workshops are fantastic and the TiPi Village Retreat is a beautiful place! The food is outstanding and healthy! The creek is magical and I recommend this with my whole heart!

This was so good for my body, mind and heart. I went alone and felt so welcomed by everyone, also comfortable to take personal time or join in whatever was happening with others. Yoga was challenging if I need that and also affirming and gentle when I needed that instead, room in schedule for down time was also appreciated. Toni and Autumn are a great team, I plan to make this retreat an annual event. And yes the food was delicious, gorgeous setting, comfortable place to stay. I don't know if others experienced this afterwards but I was super tired and it took a couple days for my energy to get back up to my 'normal speed', maybe that means I really down regulated and that's a good thing? Might be nice to front load participants to take care of and be patient with selves as they re-enter a lifestyle with much different groove following retreat. This was my first retreat so I'll make sure to do that from now on. Thanks all!

Autumn and Toni are experienced and dynamic yoga teachers with so much to share. I loved looking up at the trees while listening to the creek or Autumn giving us a sound bath during yoga, what a special experience. The meals were delicious, and I slept so well in the tipi. Thank you for this weekend of wonder, rest, fun, and connection with welcoming and wise women!
