About this trip

It was an extraordinary trip arranged by MAC. A fun and memorable event that was shared with my friends. It was great to:
a) be able to roam the Masters’ grounds during its Practice Session; and 
b) golf at the Augusta Country Club. 

2024 Masters -  Val Buschor & Friends - MAS24

It was an experience to remember!!! You and your employees/family were so wonderful and accommodating.  You made getting to Augusta National so simple for us.  So nice of your diver to take us to AGS airport car rental and wait till they opened at 8!!!!

Dad and I went to the 2024 Masters tournament and working with Jessica and Michael was super easy. They provided us a wonderful experience and the entire process was seamless. Overall great experience for Masters week. Accommodations were exactly as expected. Communication was great and everyone was super friendly and accommodating. Our only criticism was the hospitality. While the venue was very conveniently located to the course and the staff were very attentive, the food and amenities were a little disappointing.

I cannot say enough about Michael and his team. This was our 3rd tennis trip booked through Mac Sports travel and once again it succeeded all of our expectations. The accommodations were excellent. Our seats and the suites at Indian Wells were AMAZING! Looking forward to our next tennis adventure.

Lots of tennis.  Hotel was ok but far from facilities. Food was average at best. Great seats.  However, best matches on Saturday during the day.  We missed it.

Watching Tennis from a suite in court 1 was the highlight of my 2024 BNP PARIBAS. It gave us more opportunity to interact with our travel mates. More suites in the future, please.

Terrific seats for all sessions, especially the “suite” seats. Food was good, Jessica and Michael were both very accommodating. Will definitely use them again.

The communication prior to the trip was excellent. We were booked into a lovely hotel within walking distance of the venue and had great tickets in the shade. Very important at the Australian Open. We will definitely use Mac Sport Travel in the future.

2024 Australian Open - Marcelina Woods - AO24

We have used Mac sports before at Roland Garros, French open. They did a great job so we decided to use them again for the Australian open.  However, this time we are a family  of  3 instead of 2  traveling. Apparently this is too complicated , we were booked on 2 separate reservation, my sister labeled as a solo traveler and my husband and I as separate family. This is a 3 week vacation with a tour of Australia and  New Zealand. So on every airport we have  2 transfers or  2 cars for 3 people, my sister is always separated from us ,’placed on different bus for tours, her room is away from us. She was  on different floor on hotels which is extremely annoying and  difficult in  coordination . Because we always have two cars some of our luggage got left behind because we thought it was on the other car.  
Yes, will recommend MAC  and  use again if there  are only 2 people on your party, more than that, good luck!  Having said that , they were very attentive, good  seats at AO, great choice of hotels and tours. Michael is extremely helpful and caring. He said this happened because of some odd rules in Australia., of only 2 person per car, really?

We really enjoyed our trip. 
The seats at the AO were amazing. The transportation to and from airports etc. made the trip very relaxing. 
The Crown Promenade was fabulous. Great breakfast in both hotels. Service was excellent- both locations. We arrived at the Grace and could check in early, but had to pay $50.00 to do so. This should not be at an extra cost when the room is there and ready. 
We had two trips to similar activities (Sydney- Calmsley Hill and Melbourne- Moonlit Sanctuary) One would have been sufficient
Include a stop at the Sydney Opera House on the tour, we only saw the building from a distance (like looking at it on a post card) I would have enjoyed the opportunity to see it close up/inside. Tour guides were excellent
Bus for the Philip Island Day Tour needs to be a luxury bus, as the one offered was old and not very comfortable for the extensive driving. Tour guide was great.
Advise customers to visit both new Zealand and Australia, instead of two cities in Australia.
Introduced to Jessica but we never spoke to her. Encourage her to check in personally with all guests. Matt was extremely friendly and helpful. Michael was very responsive to all communications. He is knowledgeable and organized.
This was our first organized tour and I was apprehensive about the scheduled events, but it gave us a great opportunity to see so much in a short time. We would definitely do this again.

First time traveling with MAC - what a great experience.  Westin was a wonderful place to stay.  It was near Grand Central Station, good restaurants and shops nearby. Westin's daily breakfast was so enjoyable, and the offering was expansive.   US Open seats were good.  Would go again in a heartbeat.

I felt our seats were really good this year and i loved our hotel.  both seemed at a higher level than past trips and i preferred that.  the location of the hotel was fabulous, close to upscale shopping and great restaurants.  also simple to get to transportation to get us to and from the tennis venue.  the buffet breakfast was also excellent.

Our seats were great and all in the shade.
Prices for everything at the venue are really high.
Transportation getting there was good by limo though one driver did not know how to get there.
Getting home by limo was very difficult; it is so poorly organized.
Tennis center needs a logistics expert to figure this out; or common sense.

2023 US Open - Mark & Barbara Workman - USO23

My father and I are bonded by the game of tennis. He has played much of his 80 year life, and I much of my nearly 50 year life. Attending Wimbledon together has long been a shared "bucket list" destination. After searching and interacting with several travel companies I settled on MAC and was pleased with the decision from start to finish.

We ended up booking a custom package which was accommodated and made simple from the get go. Leading to the event the communication was thorough and responsive. At no point in time did I worry or wonder what or where or how our trip might unfold. I'm a planner, so that holds a lot of weight for me. Once in England, the accommodations were as expected, and the guidance Michael, Jessica, and the rest of the staff provided was extensively helpful. "They were there when you needed them, but not in your face," as my dad chimed in. That made it such that you didn't feel overly part of a larger group. (For those who wanted to feel part of a larger travel group, that was welcoming as well. We just preferred a little more of a do our own thing approach.) That said, it was nice to occasionally bump into a friendly face be it MAC staff or others from our group once on the venue grounds or out at a nearby pub.

We highly recommend using MAC for any of their offered destination travel planning. You're in solid, knowledgeable, savvy hands. Next stop, Paris??? (We shall see. But our first stop will be MAC for sure.)

This was a bucket list trip to see Wimbledon. The package included a 5 night stay at the Chelsea Harbour Hotel which was fantastic. Our tennis tickets included 2 days each of Courte 1 and Center Court, and the seats were always great. Michael Jeff was a perfect host and gave us all  a very informative Day 1 on how to get around, other sights to see, etc. All in all, on a scale of 1 to 10, this was a 12 !!!

My mom and I had an amazing time and will be talking about this trip for years to come. Michael and his crew are first rate and took us the to tournament every day on the London Underground. At one point, the card they provided for the tube wasn't working and Jessica, who works with Michael, immediately supplied me with another! 

We had fabulous seats on Centre Court and Court 1 and access to exclusive lounges with amazing food and views of the tournament, making this a VIP experience for my mother and I. It is clear that Michael and his team are passionate about what they do; they always made sure we were having a good time. And Michael knew the grounds inside and out and offered us daily tours. But he also gave us the freedom to do things on our own after we got to the tournament. 

The welcome reception Michael organized for everyone was wonderful and gave us a chance to meet all of the other people going on the trip. We completed our grand slam, and will definitely be booking Mac Sports again for Indian Wells in 2025. Many thanks to Michael and the rest of the team!

Five Stars all the way! My wife and I had Wimbledon on our bucket list, planning to do this only once, but after the experience that MAC Sports Travel provided, we will be doing many more July trips to London. Michael, Jessica and  his team provided any type of support, assistance or recommendations that you would need. The hotel is in the perfect location in Chelsea to get to the tournament, into the city or airport all by the tube system.
