About this trip

For thousands of years, pilgrims have traversed The Camino de Santiago. Follow in their footsteps as you spend eight days walking along the ancient trails that cut across the landscape of Northern Spain. This is not a race. This is a slower-paced Camino experience where we average about 17 kilometers (10.5 miles) per day and cover a total of 113 kilometers (70 miles). Completing this tour will make you eligible to receive the Compostela, the official certificate of completion issued by the Cathedral in Santiago.

This trip was amazing. When the weather didn't cooperate for our boat rides Bold Spirit Travel came up with other plans for us to enjoy. The women on the tour got along great. The guides were fun to be around and very knowledgeable. The accommodations were top notch and the restaurants were able to substitute food alternatives for my food allergies.

Fun day excursion from Portland. It was a beautiful, sunny day in the mountains. Great to have someone else organize and drive. Nice group of women from various locations and a variety of ages. At 72, I was a little apprehensive about keeping up, but we went at a good pace since most were new to snowshoeing. We could have had more time snowshoeing and less time shopping in Hood River, but I'm not much of a shopper anyway. Regina was very friendly and easy to talk to. I would definitely take another trip with her.

So well-organized and easy for participants! Regina and Chris made sure we were well taken care of. It was really fun to snowshoe again, the weather was perfect. Our driver/guide Chris was very knowledgeable, not just about our activity, but also local geology and area points of interest. I felt comfortable the whole day and had a bucket of fun!
