You're at Portimao. Leaned over to the right following the long downhill you crest the straight and your front end lifts calmly on a new S1000RR. You keep the throttle steady, the winglets do their job  and the front gently drops down with a familiar chirp. You cross the finish line once again and prepare to carefully brake downhill. The rear floats a bit then you feel the grip and throttle hard with a smile. This is your idea of a vacation, this is your second day on track. You're here for 3 days of blissful track riding and one day of relaxation before you head back to your busy life. No touristy stuff, this is all you want. To ride the roller coaster of the MotoGP calendar on a good bike and share some good food and conversation with fellow riders just like yourself. The mechanic is keeping an eye on your tire wear but so far the medium compound rear is holding up because you are riding smooth. That night in your two bedroom apartment fellow riders chat on the balcony about lines and body positioning on this complex circuit . At least for these 4 days everything will be the way it should be. Just you, an amazing track on the other side of the world and a bunch of lunatics just like you.

The riding was amazing. The food was fabulous. Riding Aragon was a dream come true. Unfortunately the leadership of Leod Escapes was extremely unprofessional and made most of the “still” moments uncomfortable.  To be honest I am not sure how he stays in business.

Overall, another good trip with LEOD Escapes!  Really enjoyed exploring the Black Forest area of Germany, and especially enjoyed riding the Hockenheim Ring, a very technical track and great learning experience! More friends made, and existing relationships strengthened, a good time had by all!

I had a great time. It was above and beyond what I imagined. The roads the hotels the food and the Mugello track and people there. The set up.most important the people running the show.they felt like part of my family.which made the trip that much more memorable and wanting to do more.truos with them.i asked if there was a life time membership form to fill up. I recommend this trip to anyone with track experience.

2024 Tuscan Hill Hopper Travel Training Tour

I had a great time on the Core of Catalunya tour. The owner of Leod Escapes, Cat, was with us the whole way through, helping to facilitate and guide. He helped make sure we were informed of important details and that everyone was making it safely to the destinations.

A big bonus of this tour was having Michael “HeyNow” Henao from Yamaha Champions Riding School on the tour. He’s not only a great guy, he brought the insights of a YCRS instructor to help us improve our riding while on the tour.

We also had a wonderful local guide, David, with a deep and personal connection to Catalunya, riding, and racing. 

David brought us on the most amazing twisties I’ve ever ridden. He also shared stories of riding and racing that gave me an unforgettable appreciation for what this place represents in the world of motorcycles.

The food was exceptional. We ate at some hidden gems throughout the region that would’ve been near impossible to find without someone familiar with the area. 

All of the hotel stays were also very exclusive. We stayed in beautiful locations only locals usually know about, far from tourist-heavy areas. This also allowed us to see amazing parts of Spain I didn’t even know existed.

To top it off, we ended the tour with 3 days of riding on the Catalunya MotoGP circuit with Racing School Europe. That was incredible. Speechless.

Overall, this was a life-changing tour, my riding has improved drastically, and I can’t wait to do the next one with Leod Escapes!

2024 Core of Catalunya

Our recent tour through Spain was my 2nd experience with Leod Escapes. The group dynamic was again exceptional, fostering a sense of camaraderie that made the journey more enjoyable. Our guide, David, was not only a skilled rider but also an effective communicator, ensuring the entire group's safety while keeping the pace up. We also had Michael from YCRS help build on the foundations learned at Champschool, which made me feel like an accomplished canyon rider by the time we ended the trip.

The meticulously planned routes perfectly blended challenging twisty roads and spectacular landscapes--every mile was an adventure. Our time at Cataluyna, in particular, was a highlight, pushing my riding abilities to new limits and providing an unforgettable 3-day track experience. (Be prepared to buy an additional set of slicks!)

The accommodations were comfortable and the food was delicious, offering a well-deserved rest after a day of riding. However, incorporating more free time in the late afternoons would allow riders to explore local towns and immerse themselves in the area at their own pace.

If you're a motorcyclist seeking an unforgettable adventure, I highly recommend this tour. It's the perfect opportunity to challenge yourself, explore a beautiful country, and connect with like-minded individuals. 

There are no words that could properly encompass this trip. To say it was a surreal, and absolutely indescribable experience would be an understatement. I knew it would be epic, the trip most dream of, but it completely exceeded every expectation. Could not POSSIBLY have imagined it better. Blown away. Thank you Leod Escapes, Cat and Nancy.

Where can you meet like minded track junkies and tour around through some of the BEST TWISTIES in Spain 🇪🇸 and then ride 3 days on a moto go track!!? Leod Escapes that's where! Attacking the 365 turns on the way to the coast 2up, espresso breaks, perma grin, jumping into the Mediterranean Sea, riding a S1000rr on a MotoGP track with some of the fastest instructors I've ever met video taping and improving your lap times, food out of this world, wife happiest I've ever seen.....well these are just some of our highlights! My 3rd tour with Leod Escapes and they seem to just keep getting BETTER!

Had a great time ridding motorcycles, talking with people, seeing the sights and eating some great food! Good amount of challenge and learning and came away a better traveler from the trip!

For a rider like me, this was the trip of a lifetime.

I am a 35+ year motorcycle rider, but have never ridden Europe before.  In fact, I had never been outside the English-speaking world prior to this trip.  This tour is the perfect introduction to international motorcycling.  We traveled primarily in Germany and northern Italy and I was able to get by with English without any trouble, but picked up just enough German and Italian to feel a little more at home.  While the point of this tour is to learn how to do it on your own, the tour guides are quick to help with anything you might need.

The BMW motorcycles are excellent and extremely well maintained.  The riding can be challenging, but is quite manageable for a rider with a few years experience, and an interest in improving their skills.  Riding with folks with a similar mindset, I made some friendships that I will last for many years.

I found the whole package to be excellent value for the money.  If you are considering trying international moto-touring I can think of no better way to start.

2023 Dolomites Training Trip for Motorcycles & Misfits

What a wild ride! This was a fantastic trip. Motorcycles really are the best way to see the world. This is a very sporting tour, possibly not for the interstate rider. I am certainly a better rider now and I thoroughly enjoyed the back country riding that we were guided through. Although this was the first run of Castles and Curves our guides were flexible and were able to overcome the problems faced (invisible flying cucumbers one might say). This was a genuine adventure and I loved it all!

2023 Castles & Curves Training Tour

This trip was exceptional value for the money. This was my first international motorcycling trip and I can't think of a better introduction to motorcycle travel; I feel I now know enough to do this myself someday. The accommodations were great, especially the hotel in Italy. The routes were appropriately challenging for my skill level and I know I'm a better rider as a result. The bikes were well-maintained and the process of picking up and returning them was seamless. My ideal vacation. I highly recommend!

Leod escapes provided a wonderful dolomite training tour from providing invaluable travel trips to the motorcycle  rentals, - exciting routes to explore, and comfortable accommodations, exposure to great local food and sights. They gave us the training to be able to come back on our own but we would love to do another tour with them. 

Amazing trip. great roads great guides and support crew were more than exceptional. we enjoyed all top notch accomodations. Cat and Nancy well planned every detail. The scenery was fantastic and the other participants and us quickly became friends.

2023 Munich to Mugello

Setting up my trip on WeTravel was easy. Cat and Nancy regulary provided updates and preparation advice so I could be confident that I was ready. This was my first time in Italy, and a life-changing motorcycle trip as well. The routes were great, amazing scenery, roads and meals, and I learned a lot about navigating with the GPS. I will be back! Thanks for an amazing tour.

Leod Motorcycle Escapes put together an amazing trip from Munich to Mugello.  The route through Alps and Dolomites was challenging and stunning.  Hotels and meals were top-notch.  And three days at Mugello with Racing School Europe was fantastic.  Cat does a great job putting the tour together and brings in additional guides that ensure the group moves efficiently and has plenty of help when needed.  I can't say enough about the trip.  If you're a skilled street-rider, track-rider, and MotoGP nut, this tour is heaven!

The trip was beyond epic. Flight cancelations and delays that might have caused us to miss out with a lesser organization were handled with grace and compassion and a way was found to ensure that we missed nothing. As this is a tour for track riders/racers, the pace was torrid and the riding conditions very challenging. You WILL improve your riding skills whether it be the handling of mountain switchbacks for finding the perfect line at Arrabbiata 2 at the Mugello circuit. The days were long, but filled with incredible riding, stunning views, exquisite food and oh the laughter that was had between all the attendees. Cat and his team run a unique tour that no description will truly capture, you really do have to try it to believe it! 

Great riders like Andy make the trip. Good riding skills and full blown Scottish character off the bike. People like this are the secret sauce that makes a Leod Escape trip awesome fun.

Riding over the Dolomites was just amazing with technical riding routes and amazing views at each passo. Mugello race track & RSE was also an experience to remember. Think 'fast as f***' as appropriate adjective for Mugello :-) 
Would recommend this trip for anyone with the appropriate riding skills for roads and track riders.

2023 Czech Out Brno "The Vienna Variant"

Epic. I watched the promo video at least 100 times and sent it to as many people. Everyone, myself included, thought it looked epic. Cat & Nancy did not disappoint. When I watch the video now, and recognize the places, roads, and corners on Motorland Aragon, my eyes well up. Not sure how much better you can get than that!

Misano MotoGP & the Italian Ride

This was a trip of a lifetime.  Thoroughly enjoyed every single minute of the trip.  Enrico our guide was simply amazing, fun, entertaining, insightful, etc.  The ride was fantastic, the scenic vistas breathtaking, food delicious, wine incredible.  I hated to leave and have dreaming about the trip since I left.  Scheming a way to return as soon as possible for another adventure. 

You are totally correct Chris. This was the first running of this tour and I've talked with Enrico a lot about the route. It's too much. Also if I had been on the tour rather than getting Covid (Ick), I would have broken the group up into two and had the more leisurely paced riders go in one group and the sport touring guys go in another. Franco was stuck trying the run a tour his own for the first time and was hesitant to make such decisions. The route has been redesigned to feature just Corsica and allow for a wider variance in speed and free time.

In my opinion, the 2022 Corsica/Sardinia tour was overly ambitious in design, which left me feeling rushed each day, and did not allow for any time to relax and enjoy what we were driving through.

There were too many miles per day planned on winding & challenging coastal roads.  As a result, there was very little time to stop and enjoy the scenery.  Several of us arrived at our hotels late in the evening worn out.   In addition, while curves are a motorcyclist’s nirvana, there is a point at which there can be too much of a good thing.  Poor judgment can creep in after several hours of twisties in high temperatures.  We experienced highs from 82-93 degree F temps (27-33 C).   

We traveled though some very scenic coastal towns and seascape, but because the main goal was to get from Point A to Point B as fast as possible, we missed out on the beauty of the islands.  This is not a tour designed for site-seeing; it is all about the curves, and how to traverse them quickly, despite the unexpected obstacles around some corners: rock/sand debris, a random cow or goat, locals and tourists driving in the opposite direction.

While speed and corners dominated this tour, there were other elements that were very positive.  The Mugello Ducati Riding Experience track day was well-done.  Mugello is a beautiful track and the 1 instructor/ 4 student instruction was insightful for all levels.   The hotels that were chosen were awesome; a few even stunning in location and history. The ferry rides were all memorable - even the 18 hour overnighter from Obia to Livorno.   The planning for all this was impeccable and without issue…. no small deed! 

In summary, this tour, as it stands, is for adrenaline junkies.   It is not for sightseeing - even at a moderate pace.  If the tour can make the following changes, it would be 5 stars (for me): fewer daily miles, two nights on Corsica, allowance for riders to ride at their skill level and pace.   At the very least, divide up into two riding groups.

Amazing trip!  Unbelievable views, fantastic roads, great people, great food!  I couldn't have asked for a better experience and can't wait to do it again!!

In one word AMAZING! The riding was spectacular, the people were accommodating and the sites were breathtaking. Leod Escapes really delivered. I will definitely be going again. 

Incredible experience riding motorcycles in the dolomites. Bikes and hotels were well taken care up, communication was clear, and importantly nothing was perfect making us think for ourselves which is the point of the trip! Absolute incredible adventure
