1) Online: You can pay online by credit card or debit card.  Online payments will incur a 4% service charge. This is to account for Stripe service fees.

Please include a letter with your payment noting the following information: Name of the Attendee(s), Contact phone number, Contact email address. Please call or email us when you are mailing a payment. We do not check our mailbox everyday. 

3) In Person: You can drop off a payment at our office in Norfolk, Virginia with the Receptionist from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Our office is located at 500 East Main Street, Norfolk, Virginia (BB&T building in downtown Norfolk). We are located on the 16th floor inside of the Gather co-working space. Your payment (money order/cashier’s check) must be in a seal envelope with the following information written on the front of the envelope: The Pack Roadtrip Travel Club #1667. Inside the envelope, please include a letter with your payment noting the following information: Name of the Attendee(s), Contact phone number, Contact email address, Contact mailing address. We will mail you a receipt. We do not accept cash or personal checks for payments made in person. Please call or email us when you are planning to drop off a payment.  

We DO NOT accept payment by phone.  

All payments are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another trip/tour. However, an existing reservation can be changed to another person. Please see the "Name Change Policy" section below.  

If you opt into a payment plan, please pay accordingly to the schedule. If more than two consecutive payments are missed, your reservation(s) will be cancelled and any payment(s) made will be forfeited.   Always contact us if you are unable to meet payment deadlines.  

Pricing is based on room occupancy (the number of people staying in a room together).  If your roommate cancel or removed from the trip due to missing more than two consecutive payments, a price adjustment will incur to cover the remaining hotel cost.  You are allowed to replace your roommate.  Please see the "Name Change Policy" below.

No refunds are available once the trip/tour commences. In the event of a no-show by a paid attendee, no refund shall be given.

We STRONGLY recommend you consider purchasing travel insurance.  We do not offer refunds. Purchasing travel insurance is a way to protect your travel investment dollars in the event the unexpected happens.

If you need to cancel, you must notify us in writing by email (info@thepacktravelclub.com). Payments will not be refunded for cancellations. 

However, if a trip is cancelled by the coordinator (The Pack Roadtrip Travel Club) due to lack of interest or unforeseen circumstances you will receive a full refund.  

A name change is the cancellation of one guest and the addition of a new guest on a booking. Applicable cancellation penalties will be assessed to the original guest (owner of the booking) plus a $50 administration fee to make a name change.  The new guest will be subject to pay any outstanding balance that was not paid for by the original guest. 

The original guest must send written response via email to info@thepacktravelclub.com requesting a name change and provide the following information of the new guest

1) Name

2) Phone Number

3) Email Address

Only the original guest can request the name change.  The ownership of the reservation will be transferred once the original guest has provide the new guest information and have paid the $50 administration fee. 

Travel insurance is offered by a third party, Allianz Global Assistance, not The Pack Roadtrip Travel Club. Plans underwritten by BCS Insurance Company, Jefferson Insurance Company or Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company and Affiliated Companies, depending on insured's state of residence and plan type. Plan(s) may not be available to residents of all states.

Travelers insurance is not required in order to join a trip/tour. 

Marable Enterprises DBA The Pack Roadtrip Travel Club hereby gives notice that The Pack Roadtrip Travel Club does not own or operate any motorcoaches, cruise lines, banquet or catering facilities, hotels or attractions and that all arrangements made for transportation, accommodations, cruises, sightseeing, attractions, meals, etc., are made by us solely as AGENTS upon the express condition that we shall be not liable for any injury, death, accident, loss, damage, delay, or irregularity which may occur either by reason of defect in any vehicle or through the acts of default of any person or company engaged in transporting the passengers or in carrying out the arrangements of the tour. Any delay in pickup time is not grounds for cancellation. The Pack Roadtrip Travel Club will not be responsible for the theft, loss, or damage of baggage and personal property.

Photos taken may only be used to promote The Pack Roadtrip Travel Club experience in articles, videos, or other media in which The Pack Roadtrip Travel Club is described and referred to within the contents of the given medium of media communication. Photographs are not to be used as stock photography.

The Pack Roadtrip Travel Club staff and venues will adhere to all state and local guidelines regarding COVID-19 and will continue to update our policy as necessary. By purchasing a ticket to our trips, tour, and events, you understand and  acknowledge that a risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present.  In attending our trips, tours, and events, you and any guests voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19, and waive, release, and discharge The Pack Roadtrip Travel Club and all of their affiliates, employees, contractors, staff, and associates from any and all liability for any illness or injury due to COVID-19 exposure.

Board your spacious, video, and restroom equipped motorcoach and set off to Charleston, SC

Our first stop will be The Starlight Motor Inn. The Starlight Motor Inn is a restored and reimagined midcentury motel in the heart of North Charleston, SC. The building first opened as a motel in 1961 but rose back to life in 2023 after being condemned for 15 years.  We'll have food by Chef Marcus Middleton of Keoni’s Low Country Diaspora (included in the price of the trip) while listening to #1 music hits at The Burgundy Lounge inside of The Starlight Motor Inn.

After an evening of food, fun, music, and fellowship, we will check into our Marriott branded hotel in North Charleston, South Carolina. 

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will depart downtown Charleston, to the  International African American Museum. The International African American Museum is a museum of African-American history in Charleston, South Carolina, on the site where Gadsden's Wharf, the disembarkation point of up to 40% of all American enslaved persons, once stood. 

After our visit to the museum, we'll enjoy lunch (fixed pixe menu included in cost of the trip / alcoholic drinks will not be served) at Ms. Rose's Fine Food & Cocktails, a neighborhood joint serving Southern comfort food with a twist! 

After lunch, we'll head to downtown Charleston to take a relaxing 1-hour, fully narrated group tour by horse carriage through the quaint and charming streets of downtown Charleston.

After a day of fun in the Lowcountry, we’ll head back to our hotel for a reception hosted by Charleston locals - The Cocktail Bandits. Johnny Caldwell and Taneka Reaves are the dynamic duo known around the globe as the curly-haired Cocktail Bandits.  Johnny and Taneka promote female empowerment through advocacy for the food and beverage community from a feminine, urban perspective.  The Cocktail Bandits will host Spirit Education Session and Mix & Mingle featuring alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails and a charcuterie board. 

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for Joseph Fields Farm in Johns Island, South Carolina. 

Joseph and Helen Fields, stewards of the land and produce at Joseph Fields Farm, a 50 acre organically certified farm. Joseph was born and raised in John’s Island, and is a third generation farmer dedicated to his craft and community. 

The Fields were recently recognized by the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History, with the inclusion of one their farm’s signs exhibited on the D.C. museum’s fourth floor.

The Family Style Meal will be prepared/curated by Chef BJ Dennis. Born and raised in Charleston, SC, personal chef and caterer Benjamin “BJ” Dennis infuses the flavors and culture of the Lowcountry into his Gullah Geechee cuisine, bringing a new taste to an ever expanding culinary palate of the south.

What differentiates Chef BJ’s food from his contemporaries in “southern” cooking is the homage he pays to the Gullah Geechee culture, brought to the Americas by West Africans, and disseminated along the West Indies and the American South. Dennis infuses the techniques of his ancestors, learned from four years of study in St. Thomas, as well as the lessons of his grandparents about eating from the land, to create fresh interpretations of local dishes focusing on in-season, locally sourced vegetables and seafood. Recent trips to Trinidad and Tobago, Haiti, Barbados, Dominica, U.S. Virgin Islands, Angola, Bahamas and Benin has brought his work full circle. Connecting the people and cultures of the African diaspora through food. Bringing back a true taste of Gullah Geechee culture.

After our lunch experience, we'll head back to our hotel in North Charleston, South Carolina. 

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we’ll depart home. A perfect time to chat with your friends about all the fun things you’ve done, the great sights you’ve seen and where your next group trip will take you!
