Alessandro and Polina made this trip an unforgettable experience for me in the best way possible. These two love what they do and it shows. They are both lovely down to earth people who will go out of their way to make sure you have the best time. It was my birthday when I was in Sicily and they make sure the celebration was fantastic. Beautiful breakfast, homemade cake, all the drinks they made me feel so special. Can’t say enough good things about this tour and the hosts. I highly recommend it.

I recently returned home after a month long journey in Italy. My trip concluded with a 10 day tour of Sicily with Viaggia Discover Sicily. This was more than just an ordinary tour as Chef Alessandro & Polina showed us the spirit of Sicily through food, wine, culture and the history of this beautiful Island.
The tour was curated in such a way that we experienced all Sicily has to offer and gave us a truly authentic experience.
From a day at a beautiful beach club, winery tours, cooking with Chef, Michelin Star dining, an operatic musical performance in Taormina, boat tours and swimming in the Tyrrhenian & Ionian Seas to visiting the most vibrant, lively, chaotic market in Palermo which offered amazing street foods and crazy characters.
Alessandro & Polina are warm, caring passionate people who put their hearts and souls into making this a truly unique experience.
I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who has a passion for travel, food history and a curiosity for life and other cultures. Definitely the highlight of my travels through beautiful Italy. ❤️

The energy and friendliness of Alessandro and Polina was much appreciated. The homemade Sicilian food cooked by the hosts were great. This was a fabulous introduction to Sicily.

What a feast of flavors, stories, and friendship! Chef Alessandro and Polina opened a window into Sicily’s soul to show us how earth and sea, fire and stone, have shaped it. They led us through echoes of earthquakes and volcanic fire, and through the footsteps of explorers and conquerors who claimed the island. In the faces of its people, in the dark, fertile soil, in the food and the arches of its streets, and the very stones of its Baroque architecture Sicily speaks of cultures crossing, meeting, and leaving their mark. A living testament at the crossroads of civilizations. An experience not to be missed!
