This trip is all about immersing yourself in local culture and art—from the colorful tiles of Alfama to the renowned wineries and creative art scenes of Porto.

We will be staying at two luxury boutique hotels that embody the essence of Portugal. In Lisbon we will stay at Hotel H10 Duque. While in Porto we will stay at the amazing Neya Hotel.
Our team will meet and escort all guests from the airport to your Hotels.
A sprinter van will escort guests to all scheduled activities.

Our airline concierge will coordinate flights with guests in December 2024. Roundtrip tickets are estimated for ~$650 USD. If you choose to book your flight independently please notify the host.

Our private shuttle service will meet you the moment you touch down at Humberto Delgado Airport (LIS) and drive about 15 minutes to Hotel H10 Duque de Loulé. We recommend arriving before 3 pm to avoid potential travel delays.

Lisbon's African Roots Black History Walking Tour and Dinner
Join a unique 4-hour walking tour of Lisbon and discover the rich history of the African diaspora in the city. With plenty of stops along the way, you'll have the opportunity to learn about the experiences of African people during the Portuguese transatlantic trade and colonial era.
Not only will you get to know the African diaspora, but you'll also have the chance to connect with people and learn about their realities.
After the tour, we will end with a delicious meal at an African restaurant, supporting black businesses in the community.

Option 1: Sintra and Cascais Visit
See Portugal's natural and architectural wonders on a small-group, guided tour of Sintra and Cascais from Lisbon. On this journey, experience the rich vegetation of Sintra Natural Park, the hidden trails and caves at Pena Park, and the bluffs of Roca Cape. Tour the immaculate Pena National Palace and then drive along the Atlantic Coast to Cascais for a leisurely walk through town to its scenic beaches. Lunch will be provided on this tour.
Option 2: Tiles Workshop and National Tile Museum Visit
Learn all about ‘azulejos’ (Portuguese tile art) on a private tour that includes a tile-making workshop in Azeitão and a visit to the National Tile Museum in Lisbon. Travel 45 minutes to reach lovely Azeitão and study with an expert tile artist. Make your own tile to take home, then have the option to stop for lunch in the fishing village of Sesimbra or Lisbon. Finish off your tour by browsing the excellent collection at the National Tile Museum (Museu Nacional do Azulejo).
